樹枝狀水性光固化樹脂之合成與物性探討

摘要


本研究是使用末端帶有數個Hydroxy Group官能基之樹枝狀聚酯高分子(Dendrimer),與縮水甘油甲基丙烯酸酯(GMA)合成光硬化型水性環氧丙烯酸樹脂,利用樹枝狀聚酯高分子(Dendrimer)的末端Hydroxy Group官能基與不同莫爾數之甲基丙烯酸甲酯(methyl methacrylate)進行加成反應,合成出(4,15GMA)、(7,12GMA)、(10,9GMA)、(13,6GMA)等四種不同接支甲基丙烯酸甲酯數目之光硬化型水溶性壓克力樹脂,並探討接支不同的甲基丙烯酸甲酯數目對其黏度(viscosity)、折射率(RI index)、水中最大溶解度(amount in water)及硬度(Hardness)等物性分析。本研究也使用熱重分析儀(TGA)、Doublebean Photocalorimeric Accessory(DPA)及傅立葉紅外線光譜儀(FTIR)來輔助分析樹枝狀聚酯高分子(Dendrimer)接支不同的莫爾數的甲基丙烯酸甲酯之熱烈解性質和結構鑑定。 實驗測試結果表示,樹枝狀聚酯高分子隨著接支的甲基丙烯酸甲酯莫爾數愈高其黏度、硬度、折射率及熱烈解溫度也愈高,但因樹枝狀聚酯高分子末端的氫氧鍵變少導致樹脂的溶水率變低,反之而接支的甲基丙烯酸甲酯莫爾數愈低其黏度、硬度、折射率及熱烈解溫度也愈低。

In this study, the dendrimer, which has several hydroxy groups at the end, reacts with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) to synthesize the UV curing and water borne epoxy acrylate. The hydroxy groups at the end of the dendrimer are utilized to react with different moles methyl methacrylate to proceed the addition reaction for synthesizing the four type UV curing and water borne epoxy acrylates (4,15GMA, 7,12GMA, 10,9GMA, 13,6GMA), which have different branch number of methyl methacrylate (MMA). In physical property analysis, the epoxy acrylate with different number of methyl methacrylate branch was studied for viscosity, RI index, amount in water and hardness. In this study, Thermal Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), Doublebean Photocalorimeric Accessory(DPA)and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) are also utilized to analyze the thermal cracking property and structure determination of the epoxy acrylates with different moles of methyl methacrylate branch. In the experimental results, the more moles of methyl methacrylate branch of the dendrimer, the higher viscosity, hardness, RI index and thermal cracking temperature of that. However, the less hydroxyl bonds at the end of dendrimer cause the lower amount of resin in water. Hence, the less moles of methyl methacrylate branch, the lower viscosity, hardness, RI index and thermal cracking temperature.
