Part 1. 本研究主要探討具有制振性質之雲母粉,滑石粉等填充劑及環氧 天然橡膠與環氧樹脂摻混後其樹脂硬化及劣化之反應.自示差掃描熱卡計 之結果可知ENR及填充劑的加入會因為立體障礙及其吸熱性而造成反應之 延遲,此外會影響環氧樹脂本身之反應機構而使得其速率常數,反應級數, 放熱量,活化能及玻璃轉化溫度產生變化.自霍氏紅外線光譜儀得知加入 ENR會減緩環氧樹脂硬化之速度而且有部分ENR未參與硬化反應.Part 2. 本研究主要探討聚對苯二甲酸乙酯(PET)利用臭氧處理以進行表面改質並 以衰減全反射紅外線光譜觀察改質後其表面之組成變化及效果.自ATR可 之Mylar film表面層所含之苯基較內層為少而其本身之結晶度甚高對臭氧 之抵抗力尚佳,經長時間臭氧處理後其生成之物都為C=O基且臭氧濃度愈高 者反應速率愈快,當Mylar film 經過再拉伸後其對臭氧之抵抗力更佳.本 實驗最適合觀察之表面厚度在於利用KRS-5(60)晶片可穿透之深度範圍. In the part if this study, the curing behaviors of an epoxy (diglycidyl ether of bisphenon A) and dicyandiamide (DICY)/2- methyl imidazole system with the additions of mica and talc fillers and epoxidized natural rubber (ENR) are studied with differential thermal calorimetry (DSC). The presence of the fillers and ENR can decrease the curing rate and change curing mechanism of the resin system. The changes in the rate constant, reaction order, curing exotherm, activation energy, and glass transition temperature are resulted from the heat sink and barrier effects of the fillers. As a result, the type, the loading, and the size of the fillers all generate different influences on the curing characteristics. The effect from ENR is attribbuted to the relatively inert nature of the epoxide groups on the ENR.In the second part, the surface changes of a polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) after ozone exposure are analyzed using attenuated total reflection infrared spectroscopy (ATR). It is obtained that the surface layer of the PET film contains less aromatic rings than the inner layer. The carbonyl groups are formed on the outmost 1.2 micrometers thick surface layerafter ozone treatment. The amounts of carbonyl groups increase witn the increases of ozone concentration and exposure time while decrease with theapplied strain because of the possible strain-induces crystallization.
