端銑刀刀具磨耗研究

摘要


本文首先探討未鍍膜端銑刀在銑削時轉速、進給率以及切削深度等因素改變下,對刀腹磨耗所造成的差異。了解銑削參數對刀腹磨耗的影響之後,再針對鍍膜端銑刀在不同鍍膜條件下的所呈現抗磨耗的能力進行實驗分析,實驗設計的方法採田口法的實驗方式,從實驗結果中觀察到一組刀腹磨耗量最小的鍍膜製程條件,同時提出一組最佳的鍍膜製程條件做為業界參考依據。藉由SEM得知,不同製程鍍膜條件下所製造的鍍膜端銑刀,膜厚的差異對刀腹磨耗來說沒有顯著的影響。最後以有限元素軟體進行模擬分析,觀察主應力分布與主應力應力值,並將模擬值與端銑刀刀腹磨耗做一比對。

In the end milling process, the flank wear occurred at the interface between tool and workpiece is strongly influenced by the cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut. In this paper, a series of tool wear experiments were conducted to determine the relationship between these parameters and a strong correlation was observed. In order to reduce the wear phenomenum, the titanium nitride (TiN) coating were deposited on the tungsten carbide milling tool and the Taguchi method was applied to determine the optimum coating parameters which include power, temperature, coating time and voltage based on the tool flank wear. The effect of TiN coating on flank wear has been investigated in this study. Finally, a finite element analysis was implemented to simulate the milling process. The stress distribution on the surface of the milling tool was then compared with the flank wear.
