渦輪碼結合可適性調變技術在寬頻多路徑衰減通道下之性能分析與實現

摘要


本論文中吾人考慮兩種技術的結合,分別是:渦輪碼以及可適性調變技術。可適性調變技術的主要功能在於:使用可適性調變可以降低通道衰減造成的影響,而且根據通道狀況選擇適合的調變方法以增加系統傳輸量。此外寬頻無線通訊服務資料傳輸率非常高,因此通道ISI的情況會十分嚴重,在此使用決策迴授式等化器 (DFE) 克服之,並可利用半解析法來分析其性能。另一方面渦輪碼可大幅降低錯誤率,根據文獻[Berro93]指出在編碼率1/2時 時,其位元錯誤率(BER)可以達到 ,很接近Shannon limit。因此結合此兩種技術不僅可以大幅降低錯誤率提昇系統效能,還能夠增加資料傳輸量。 系統透過渦輪解碼器進行解碼必須求得解碼器輸入的LLR (log-likelihood ratio)值,在本論文中渦輪解碼器的位置是放在DFE的後方(可參考圖4.1),因此必須求得DFE輸出端的LLR才能夠對資料進行解碼。所以要結合可適性調變技術與渦輪碼就必須知道DFE輸出的LLR如何求得,這也是本篇論文的重點,並在第四章有詳盡的介紹。 在實現方面吾人將渦輪碼以C語言的方式實現於TMS320C6701上,除了模擬結果驗證解碼正確無誤外,並討論C語言程式的最佳化。最佳化方法有兩種:1藉由CCS(Code Composor Studio)軟體提供的最佳化方式與,2.改進C語言程式的撰寫方法以提升執行效能,並透過clock的紀錄比較此兩種方法對程式執行時間的影響。 考慮到硬體實現的問題,吾人以Adaptive-DFE相位同步接收機來接收訊號,更進一步思考結合渦輪碼與Adaptive-DFE相位同步接收機,在論文最後也針對這方面做討論。

In this thesis we analysis and simulate the modulation and coding techniques, and that is the adaptive modulation and turbo codes. The main purpose of adaptive modulation is to be applied in : The wide-band service where the data rate is very high, therefore the channel fading effect is critical. By adaptive modulation, the impairments of fading channel effect can be reduced significantly. As a result, the overall system’s performance can be potentially. Second, recent research on turbo codes has shown that, when the coding rate of turbo codes is 1/2, the error rate (BER) of can be achieved with , which is only 0.7dB from the Shannon limit. Thus, combining both the adaptive modulation scheme and turbo codes can lead to significant performance gain for wide-band wireless multimedia service. We implement the turbo codes on a TMS320C6701 DSP board programmed by C language, and show the simulated result by CCS. There are two kinds of optimal ways, optimization by CCS and optimization by C language. By using these ways we can improve system’s performance, and record the time by “clock”. Finally, considering the implementation, we use Adaptive-DFE phase synchronous receiver to be the receiver combined with turbo codes.
