學生的學業成就係學習成果的主要指標,除了本身的因素之外亦受到家長、學校教師的影響。而了解可影響學生學業成就的有關因素,可以作為教師改進教學以及家長從旁協助提升孩子學業成就的參考,進而提高學生學習成效。許多學習理論均推測家庭背景中的某些因素,可促進學生的努力學習,助長學生的學習成效,進而有助於學生學業成就的提高。 民國九十年的教育改革之檢討與改進會議中,已將「外籍配偶」列為因為家庭結構、語言文化而導致學習不利的因素,視其子女為教育上的「社會弱勢者」,希望「健全社會弱勢者的教育政策,落實教育機會均等」。因此,研究者想藉此了解新移民女性子女之家庭是否會因家長參與的程度不同而影響子女的學業成就,還是因家庭教育理念的不同子女有不同的學業成就,甚至親師溝通的差異影響子女的學業成就。 本研究透過因素分析及邏吉斯迴歸分析發現新移民女性之子女家長欲提升子女學業成就應儘可能提升自己重視子女作業的教育理念、對子女在教育成就上要有預期達成的目標以及對子女學業成就的表現表達關心或鼓勵、支持。在家長參與的部分,新移民女性應提升自己能夠輔導子女解決問題的能力。至於親師互動層面,新移民女性應增加與教師互動的機會,對子女的學業成就將有所提升。而新移民女性可提升自身之學歷對子女之學業成就將有正面之影響。
Students’ learning result is a major indicator of learning efficiency. Besides, teachers and their parents also play important roles in it. The related factors helpful to the understanding of the effects on learning results can be a key reference for teachers and parents to assist and improve the learning achievement of those Foreign Brides’ children. Furthermore, that can arise those students’ learning efficiency. In the Conference of Educational Innovation in 2002, the Foreign Brides’ situation was listed as a factor of the unfavorable ones resulted from family construction, and the differences of languages and cultures. Also, their children were viewed as a ‘Weak Group of Society’ in education. They asked the government ‘ to perfect the educational policy of Social Weak Groups and to equalize the chances of education.’ Accordingly, the researcher intends to realize whether the families formed by foreign brides will make any differences via various degree of involvement or different educational ideologies will result in different learning achievement. Moreover, the researcher tries to make clear whether the diversity of parent-teacher interaction will affect students’ learning achievement. By way of the research methodologies of Factor Analysis and Logit Regression Model, the study makes a finding that if the parents of foreign brides’ children want to upgrade their kids’ learning achievement, they have to strengthen their educational ideology to put much more emphasis on their kids’ study fields, to set goals that are expected to be done, and to express concerns, encouragement, and supports for their children. Regarding the area of parents’ involvement, foreign brides should possess the skills of assisting their kids to solve their own problems. As for the aspect of parent-teacher interaction, foreign brides should actively increase the chances of the interaction with teachers; that will of course improve their kids’ learning achievement. If the foreign brides get higher education history, that will surely pose a positive influence on the learning efficiency of their kids.
