摘要


跨國物流業者進入台灣 對物流業營運模式影響之研究 學生:鄒伯衡 指導教授:湯玲郎 博士 元智大學管理研究所碩士班 摘要 台灣自從加入WTO之後,便正式進入全球化的市場,各項產業都必須與跨國企業競爭。跨國企業擁有豐富的管理、銷售、研發、資訊、營運能力與經驗,也實際運用在全球各地的市場上,攻城掠地,拓展業務版圖,使得產業競爭趨於白熱化。台灣的物流業在面臨跨國物流業者強大的競爭壓力時,已經開始提升自己的能力,逐漸改變在傳統運輸、倉儲、加工、包裝以及流通加工等低階服務功能的階段,例如投入資訊系統與倉儲系統,建構自己的競爭優勢,以為因應。 本研究旨在探討跨國物流業者,挾著豐沛的資源,相繼進入台灣的物流市場後,與台灣的物流業者產生的交互影響。本研究先從國際物流趨勢及台灣的物流發展現況開始探討,彙整相關文獻內容,接著歸納建構一個以客戶服務、資訊系統、運輸系統、倉儲系統、整合能力五個構面的營運模式,進而對企業的經營活動、競爭優勢、生存利基、資源投入等四項營運循環,提出交互影響的研究。本研究藉由個案深度訪談的方式來驗證,跨國物流業者與台灣物流業者之間的交互影響情形。 本研究經深度訪談後,發現台灣物流業,已開始向跨國物流業者學習其營運模式,逐漸擺脫「管倉庫!」「送貨的!」之傳統舊思維,結果顯示台灣的物流業者,已從以下各項開始改變,並產生影響: 1. 建立專業的IT(Information Technology)技術、創造競爭優勢。 2. 專業的倉儲管理系統已成為台灣物流業的生存利基。 3. 物流業注重倉庫管理的品質提升,以完美訂單為目標,將成為跨國物流業者的合作夥伴,甚至能夠直接與國際企業合作,不需透過跨國物流企業。 拋開台灣目前物流業者在發展上的種種限制,若能有效投入應用營運模式改進,或與跨國物流業者合作,則必能為物流業帶來新的經營曙光與方向。

Student: Po- Heng Tsou Advisors:Dr. Ball Tang Graduate School of Management Yuan-Ze University ABSTRACT Taiwan has intensely engaged herself with the global market from the first day being part of the WTO, the World Trade Organization, and thereafter the businesses competition has been escalated from basically Local to completely International. However, armed with the superiorities in management, sales, R&D, information, and operation capability, most of the invincible International Logistics Enterprise are difficult for Taiwan’s logistics business to compete with. Under such a predestined pressure from these International Giants, the Logistics Business in Taiwan has started elevating its capability by changing the approach of low-level services such as traditional transportation, storage, manufacturing, packaging, and circulation. Conventional storage system has also incorporated with modern information system to improve the capability to in competition. The focus of this research is on the mutual influence on Taiwan’s local Logistics Business from major international competitors. The study starts from the review of the international trend and Taiwan’s current development in Logistics Business; relevant literatures are reviewed and well organized. An operational model incorporating customer service, information system, transportation system, storage system, and integration capability is therefore established. Furthermore, a research on mutual influence regarding business operation, competitiveness, business foundation, and resource assessment is also given. The research is launched with case studies and insightful interviews. The case studies reveal that, the Logistics Businesses in Taiwan have been adopting the operation model of their international competitors, so that they can change their conventional business images as “storage managers” and “parcel deliverers”. The business transformation initiates from the following features: 1. Establishment of professional IT (Information Technology), which will be the base of the business competitiveness. 2. Establishment of modern Warehouse Management System, which will be the foundation for survival of the business. 3. Goal is aimed on corporation with other International Logistics Enterprise by elevating the quality of storage management. However, direct international customer relationship with direct service without the dependency on other International Logistics Enterprise is the ultimate target of the Business. Without the obsolete restrictions on conventional Logistics Business in Taiwan, the emergence of a new operation model and business orientation can therefore be anticipated, provided that the improvement in operational model is effective and the corporation with International Logistics Enterprise is well achieved.
