摘要


本文提出一種雙向光偏極化量測網路分析儀探頭及其應用:此一探頭除了可雙向式測量光的極化狀態的變化並且可以量測光學元件的Stokes參數以及Stokes轉換矩陣,藉由量測的Stokes參數,我們可以用來觀察系統受到外在物理變因的影響。 此外,我們並對光纖通信網路之中的一些元件作光偏極態測量與偏極態變因分析,透過光偏極態的極化分析可以了解光在光纖系統中的變化,以因應未來更高速的光纖系統中,極化的改變對於系統的影響。

In this thesis, we develop a two-way optical polarization measurement probe for measuring the polarization state and the Stokes parameters and the Stokes transformation matrix of the optical component in the optical fiber communication system. From the measurement, we can understand the change of the polarization state of the key component in the fiber-optic communication networks. A case of measuring the state of polarization variance according to the temperature variation is presented for demonstration.
