摘要

本論文研究提昇電子文件閱讀理解效力的技術，為達此目標首先得萃取文件內容的語意概念，然後利用標記語言來標記此類概念，並發展標籤處理技術，以完成一檢索便利的超文件系統，提供進一步的應用。
本研究以ISO 9001應用於軟體產品為實例(以ISO 9000-3為指引)，提出以「產品生命週期」與「缺失生命週期」表達此應用領域的主要概念及結構，並發展了「品質標記語言」及相關之標籤處理技術。在此品質標記語言的應用上，我們提出了ISO認證分級制度的新構想及方法。利用品質標記語言所建構的超文件系統，可有效的檢索出決定分級所需的相關資料，輔助分級制度之推行。此外，本論文亦開發ISO稽核與文件維護所需的工具，同時亦發展了「多重觀點」 (multiple views)的文件導覽功能，即不同的使用者在使用相同的標籤時，可以不同的觀點加以瀏覽。本研究所發展的方法可將電子文件的檢索提昇到概念的層次,並提高超鏈結建構的效率。

This thesis proposed a concept-based approach to construct hyper-documents. It aimed to improve the understandability and reading efficiency of a complex document system. For these purposes, the intrinsic semantics embedded in this document system needs to be explicitly expressed. Then, a domain-specific markup language needs to be designed to mark such semantics , followed by the development of appropriate tag processing techniques. Finally, the document system is converted into a hyper-document system for further applications.
This thesis used ISO 9001 Quality Document System as a case study (ISO 9000-3 as a guideline). We proposed the concepts of "product life cycle" and "defect life cycle" as the semantic framework of this domain, and then based on this framework we designed software Quality Markup Language(QML) as well as tag-processing techniques. We proposed the new idea of classify ISO certification into different levels. Using QML, we can retrieve the relevant information to assist level determination of ISO certification. We have constructed a tool for this application, and also constructed tools for ISO auditing as well as document maintenance. Besides our tools also support document navigation of multiple views. When different users use the same tags, they can be provided with different portions of these document system, according to their selected viewpoints. Our proposed techniques upgrade electronic document reading to a concept-based level and also facilitate efficient hyperlink construction.
