廣視角配向控制窗對於液晶分子運動影響的研究

摘要


MVA(Multi-domain Vertical Alignment)為廣視角技術之一,主要是利用配向控制窗所產生的傾斜電場,來影響液晶分子的運動,產生配向的效果。本實驗的目的是希望針對窗口大小、間距及形狀等設計參數的改變來分析邊界效應對於液晶分子的影響,另外,可從加電場時液晶分子的相變化情形以及藉由電腦軟體模擬得到的數據共同驗證實驗結果,據此探討液晶分子受電場作用時排列扭轉的實際情形。

MVA(Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) is a technology of wide view angle. It used inclining electronic field by opening of controlling orientation to influence the motions of liquid crystal molecules and produce a orientation effect. In our study, we changed the parameters of the sizes,intervals and shapes of the opening to analyze the boundary effect with the liquid crystal molecules. However, we can confirm the experience results according to the phase change of the liquid crystal molecules in an electronic field and the data of simulations with computers. In view of the above, we can discuss the actual situation that liquid crystal molecules were turned and arranged by electronic field.
