控制配相窗對於垂直配相之液晶分子運動狀態模擬與光學特性分析

摘要


本研究係利用日本shitech公司的光學設計模擬軟體針對MVA mode電極結構的設計及光學特性的模擬,共分為三大部分包括預傾角度及電極間距、配向角度…等等參數的改變,透過光學計算分析,將得到的結果包含液晶元件中液晶分子的軸向分布和電位分布以及液晶顯示器的光學特性等,再進一步討論找出最佳化參數

This paper tried to use LCD Master from SHINTECH to calculate the optical properties and molecular motion of MVA mode LCD in different boundary condition. Many topics were studied such as (1) The change of pretilt angle (2) The change of rubbing angle (3) The change of electrode width and distance between two electrodes were used to simulate with optical analyzer. We can use simulation result to understand the liquid crystal molecules interaction behavior with applied voltage in MVA mode displays.
