3-D立體影像,是以各種顯像技術呈現出立體的視覺影像與景深,使人類感受到立體的視覺。為了滿足人類的心理,許多機構也正積極研發各項立體顯像技術,期待能像真實物體般將影像顯現在三度空間中,並且廣泛地應用於人類各種活動中。 本研究將在第一章首先探索目前各種立體顯示系統的發展現況,並以既有的技術為出發點,以作為未來理想之「3-D顯像系統」的發展雛形。理想中的3-D顯像系統是以數位技術為基礎,除了高畫質、高解析度之外,也可以跨越平面顯示的局限,在空間中呈現出物體的體積與量感,甚至呈現出大型的作品,也允許觀眾環繞不同的視角觀看,並能操作與之互動。這種型態的立體顯示系統,在博物館當中正是最佳的展示媒體。 博物館是為服務人們而存在,因此在第二章第一節中探討此系統與使用者之間的互動介面設計,使人們便於和這種新的媒體達成溝通;而博物館也以展示作為和觀眾溝通的主要媒體,因此在第二節之中,擬從博物館學的角度出發,對於未來3-D顯像系統在博物館展示中的應用,進行初步的探討。 當各種虛擬的科技在向來強調「真實」觀念的博物館中普及時,一如過去複製品在博物館的運用受到的質疑般,或許會引發各界更多的討論;因此在本研究中的第三章第一節將先行討論複製品之使用的問題,再於第二節辨析真實與虛擬之間的邏輯觀念,藉此探討模擬真實的3-D顯像系統應用在博物館時所產生的意義。 而時代社會的演進改變了人類的思維與觀念,其中科技的進步扮演重要角色;本研究之第四章第一節將藉由博物館發展趨勢的了解,探討3-D顯像系統在這種思維發展下的可能應用,並且在第二節中預期未來完全不使用典藏品,而以3-D顯像為展示媒體之「3-D顯像博物館」的生成,期待對於傳統的博物館產生新的刺激,並與之共榮共存。希冀這項明日的科技的發展成熟後,能幫助人們在博物館中達到更好的學習,以認識和接觸這寬廣世界的過去、現在和未來。
3-D images present the seemly three-dimensional visual images and cues by means of different manifestation techniques. Many institutions have been dedicated to the research of diversified 3-D manifestation techniques in the hope that the images can be shown in the physical space as three-dimensional objects and that it can be widely applied in various activities of the human being. The first chapter of this search focuses on exploring the current developments of three-dimensional manifestation systems and discussing the ideal “3-D manifestation system” to be developed from existing techniques. Such an ideal 3-D manifestation system based on digital techniques will be completed with high definition and high resolution. Additionally, this system will break through the limitation of 2-D display and fully demonstrate the dimension and volume of an object or even a huge artwork, allowing people to watch it from different angels and to interact with it. This kind of 3-D manifestation system will be the best display media in the museum. As museums exist for serving people, in the first section of the second chapter, the author aims at investigating the interface designed for better interaction between the system and the user. And in the second section, the author, from the viewpoint of museum, examines the application of 3-D manifestation system in the future museum since exhibition has been regarded as the major media to communicate with the audiences. When virtual technology prevails in museums that have been emphasizing the concept of “real”, it may arouse arguments from different fields, just as the reproductions used in museum exhibitions being questioned nowadays. Therefore, the third chapter first discusses the issue of the reproductions used in museum exhibitions and then analyzes the logic concept of the true and the virtual, through which the significance of the virtual reality of the 3-D manifestation system being applied in the museum will be examined. The thoughts and concepts of human beings have been changing with the evolution of society, in which science technology plays an important role. In view of this, the first section of the fourth chapter centers on the applicable feasibility of the 3-D manifestation system, based on the understanding of the developmental trend of the future museum. In the following section, it forecasts the birth of “3-D manifestation museum” which is characterized by the 3-D manifestation exhibition rather than that of collections. Hopefully, this kind of technology will reach maturity in the future to provide people with a better learning in the museum to know the past, present and future of the world.
