填充塔中醇胺溶液對二氧化碳之吸收研究

摘要


本研究主要是針對工業蓬勃發展,所伴隨產生的大量二氧化碳,尋 求較可行的解決之道。近年來有關二氧化碳的處理,全世界各地學者皆在 熱烈探討中,諸如化學固定法、固體吸附法及氣體吸收法等等。但欲處理 大量之二氧化碳氣體,則以氣體吸收法較為合適,其中填充塔吸收操作又 為最簡便、最常用的方法:因此本實驗有興趣對此著手進行研究。首先將 不同濃度之單一醇胺及混合醇胺溶液注入填充塔內,以測試其吸收二氧化 碳的效率。反應在半批次情況下進行,出口氣體定時間用氣相層析儀檢測 ,以得知其中二氧化碳濃度,藉此可算出各個時段之CO2吸收總量、CO2負 載、平均吸收速率以及CO2移除率等等。此外,系統溫度、入口氣體總流 量及入口氣體CO2濃度等變數對平均吸收速率等的影響,也是本研究探討 的重點,藉由各種指標可判斷何種醇胺溶液配方具有較好的吸收效率。貫 穿曲線是本實驗探討的另一重點:由貫穿曲線的形狀可看出不同醇胺溶液 之吸收特性。經由不同操作變數對貫穿點、飽和點出現時間和貫穿容量、 總吸收容量的影響探討,可針對各工廠之不同排放狀況提供參考,以利選 擇一最適合的醇胺溶液及濃度來進行吸收。最後,將吸收飽和之醇胺溶液 排出,進行加熱脫附,考慮的變數包括脫附溫度及醇胺溶液濃度等。接著 再將脫附完後之醇胺溶液注入填充塔內吸收,以觀察各變數對吸收曲線的 影響:並從中選擇一最佳之脫附溫度及醇胺濃度,來進行多次吸收/脫附 ,觀察同一醇胺溶液在多次吸收/脫附下,其吸收特性之衰退情況。

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a product of rapid development. In recent years, the global warming problem caused by CO2 has received tremendous amount of attention. To deal with this problem, chemical fixation, adsorption and absorption of CO2, etc. have been researched. Among the various methods, absorption of in a packed-bed tower is the most appropriate one in dealing with large amount of gas due to its ease of operation and high efficiency.The purpose of this study is to conduct experimental investigations usingvarious amines in absorbing CO2 in a packed- bed column. The study considered experimental tests in a batch and semi-continuousmodes. The absorption efficiencies of CO2 by primary, secondary and tertiaryamines were examined in terms of different operating variables. From the test data, the total amount of CO2 absorption, CO2 loading, average absorptionspeed and rate CO2 removal were determined. Semi-continuous runs were also performed to explore the breakthrough curves under different operating conditions. The test results allow determination of optimal conditions for practical purpose. The regeneration of exhausted amines by a thermal method was also considered. The operating variables considered included temperature and amineconcentration. Test runs were conducted to examine the efficiencies of multipleabsorption/desorption cycles for reuse purpose.
