Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is considered to be a much more clean fuel and it is composed of commercial propane and commercial butane. The materia1 has been involved in many major fires and explosions. It is a combustible gas, which has the potential to create a hazard. Therefore a LPG station exists high risk of explosions and need to be designed and operated extremely carefully. This paper is to perform numerical simulations of a typical LPG station subject to postulated fire accidents. Some important parameters are selected to access and evaluate the safety features of the station. The research is expected to provide useful information for references and also pay highly attention to public security of the society.
