臺灣半導體設備技術服務公司之成長策略-以JEBT公司為例

摘要


臺灣高科技產業的產出比重有逐年上升的趨勢,然高科技中「半導體」更是一重要的原件製造。 台灣的半導體產業發展雖已近30年,但設備工業仍是最弱的一環,其機台設備供應商幾乎全是國際設備大廠的天下。國際設備商為深耕台灣半導體巿場,紛紛成立技術團隊或分公司,與半導體製造廠做近距離的支援與技術服務。二十年來人才與技術的累積,逐漸為台灣半導體設備及技術服務奠立了不可小覷的基礎。 然半導體是一個資本龐大,技術密集,並起伏變化非常大的產業。台灣半導體製造廠除靠專業分工與優越製造力,提升產品的量能與良率,更期待原設備商之外的優秀台灣半導體設備商,能深化其技術實力,共同為成本降低與技術提升做努力,共創產業競爭力

Taiwanese High-Tech productivity rate has gone up. Among high-tech products, semi-conducting is an important manufactured good of the original parts. Although Taiwanese semi-conducting has been developing for 30 years, but Taiwan is incapable of producing its own equipment, thus, the Taiwanese equipment industry is one of its major weak points. Nearly all of Taiwanese semi-conducting equipments have been bought off the dominating International Factories. Due to outstanding semi-conducting companies, International facility companies have started to conjure branch offices within Taiwan, making their service greatly improved, as in technical support. Due to that, within 20 years, fundamental basics have formed, and Taiwanese is capable of technically supporting itself, thus should not be underestimated. Because semi-conducting consumes large amounts of funds, and is greatly structured by technology, it is greatly effected by economic up risings and down falls. For example, the unstable price, technological revolution, the integration between the value chain, and the unpredictable demand of the public, with too many unknown variables. On top of that, Korea and Mainland China’s semi-conducting has been improving with great speed, thus making Taiwanese net profit decrease rapidly, along with the cost pressure elevating. Under these circumstances, Taiwanese only way of running this business is with its outstanding ability in productivity control, elevating the capacity and yield. Taiwan semi-conducting companies are looking for local companies to cooperate with that purposes on cost reduction and increasing the profits, thus making Taiwanese semi-conducting companies competent enough in the faces of the International companies.
