摘要

隨著網際網路興起,網路所帶來管理上和安全上的威脅,將形成另一波資訊革命。因此如何同時兼顧IT建置成本、有效管理和資訊安全,幫助企業提升競爭力,便是值得探討的課題。

本論文以安全面和管理面的觀點來當作研究方向，並利用BS7799的安全項目和ITIL的IT管理項目當作指標來進行不同產業的案例探討，並結合廠商的經營策略和市場的應用發展來分析探討Server-Based Computing和Thin Client的發展趨勢和未來展望。

研究結論得到Server-based computing和Thin Client的應用架構確實可以針對安全和管理方面提供更好的解決方案。期望本研究可做為日後相關資訊人員和資訊廠商應用發展的參考。

This thesis mainly focused on IT security and management issues.By applying the BS7799 and ITIL as the guideline and check-point, this
thesis examined and analyzed some case-studies which are randomly picked
from different industries. Moreover, we applied the method of server-based computing and thin-client network structure from the prospect of future company management and development to those case-studies. As the result, the method of Server-based computing and Thin-client networking structure showed that it actually improves and resolves for IT security and management issues.
