跨產業資訊從業人員生涯發展之研究

摘要


隨著企業對於資訊科技的重視,負責企業電腦化的資訊從業人員已經成為就業市場的主流,在組織中扮演的角色越加吃重。而國內政府積極推動各產業電子化的結果,亦造成資訊從業人員的需求不再局限於資訊電子產業,漸漸地擴展到金融業、物流業及傳統製造業…等。 資訊從業人員也許工作內容大同小異,但是進入不同產業後所面對的產業環境、工作特性必定有所差異,這項差異可能會造成資訊從業人員在職場發展上的不同,因此本研究期望透過內在觀察的角度─即工作滿意度與生涯滿意度,來探討不同產業的資訊從業人員生涯發展的異同。 另外,本研究探討生涯發展策略的選擇對於資訊從業人員生涯發展之影響,並分析生涯策略、產業類別與滿意度間的關聯性,期望能夠使資訊從業人員依據自己所處的環境情況,做出適當的生涯策略選擇。 研究發現,不同生涯發展策略之資訊從業人員在待遇、成長與生涯滿意度上有顯著差異,其中以轉型忠誠者擁有最高的滿意度;不同產業之資訊從業人員在整體工作滿意度上有顯著差異,其中以服務於高科技製造業者擁有最高的滿意度。而比較兩者交互影響後發現,不同生涯發展策略之資訊從業人員,的確會因為服務於不同的產業,而在生涯發展上有所差異。

As enterprises put emphasis on information technology, IT professionals who account for computerization have become the main choice of employment market. And they’ve become more and more important in organizations than before. In recent year, our government positively boosted “e-industry projects”. As a result, the requirements of IT professionals are no longer restricted to information & electronic industry. The needs gradually extend to financial, logistical and manufacturing industries. The contents of the job of IT professionals may have no significant difference. But there are absolute between industrial environment and job characteristic. This diversity could cause the difference in career development of IT professionals. Consequently, this research adopt the internal view─the comparison if the difference between job satisfaction and career satisfaction. In addition, this research discuss the impact of selection from career strategies on career development of IT professionals. We analyzed the relationships among career strategy, industrial categories and job/career satisfaction. Hoping this proposition could let IT professionals choose appropriate career strategy according their working condition. As the result, we found that career strategy did make different satisfaction on treatment, growth and career. And industrial category did make different general job satisfaction. Finally, considering the interaction of them, career development of IT professionals with different career strategy differs while serving in different industries.
