Storytelling is one of the important ability for children’s learning. Through storytelling, children can totally participate in thinking. Therefore, to develop and enhance the ability of storytelling has became an important issue for researchers. Not only description will effect storytelling but also the author’s creativity. And it is not an easy job to tell a story. Usually, children do not know how to expand their story just because they do not get enough support of creativeness and imagination. Obviously, we need a mechanism to work up school children’s creativeness. In this research, we designed and implemented the system with high flexibility and well expression mechanism. We also made an experiment to figure out the story grammar scaffolding which we offered could help children to improve their creativeness and the extension of their stories or not. Participants were divided into two groups, the experimental group used the platform with story grammar scaffolding to create their story, and the control group used the platform without story grammar scaffolding. We gathered statistics by children’s questionnaire, children’s evaluation, teacher’s evaluation, and the structure of stories, and we found the experimental group with story grammar scaffolding can use the system easier than the control group. Besides, their story is in a better structure, clearer subject, more creative ideas and abundant contents. At the same time, they have better confidence on sharing their stories with others. Based on the result, we believe story grammar scaffolding really help children to develop story.
