中國大陸自2001年加入WTO後,國內經濟環境成長快速,對外資的投資政策也逐步放寬,內需市場不斷擴大,據大陸商務部商業改革發展司與中國連鎖經營協會統計,2007年,「中國連鎖百強」企業的年銷售金額已突破一萬億元人民幣,比同期增長21﹪,顯示中國大陸百貨零售業正快速的成長;反觀台灣,據台灣連鎖暨加盟協會統計,2007年,台灣零售業營業額為2兆9781億元新台幣,較去年同期增加3.27﹪,台灣百貨零售業的成長呈現減緩趨勢。台灣的連鎖便利商店密度高居全球第一,各連鎖便利商店體系競爭激烈,市場已趨於飽和狀態,各連鎖便利商店體系無不積極尋求海外新市場,以拓展新商機;中國大陸自加入WTO後,對於連鎖零售業的政策大幅度開放,國內連鎖便利商店市場快速成長,已成為全球各大連鎖便利商店體系競相角逐的地方。 本研究係以歷史資料比較法及SWOT分析,經由對台灣、上海的經濟發展過程比較,和對兩地個案公司的SWOT分析,試圖剖析中國大陸在加入WTO後,台灣連鎖便利商店業者,前往中國大陸投資連鎖便利商店時所具有的優勢及劣势、和所可能面臨的機會及威脅,以提供台灣連鎖便利商店主管機關制訂相關因應對策,及有意前往中國大陸投資連鎖便利商店的台灣業者參考,以免投資業者過分樂觀於預期,迷失在中國大陸的投資熱潮中,而作出錯誤的決策。
This thesis analyzed some factors why the Taiwan convenience store chains are keen on developing business to Mainland China under the competitive environment. The thesis started with comparing the challenge and market prospection between Taiwan and Shanghai by using historical data, followed by a SWOT analysis to figure out the key factors that need to pay attention to when doing business in China. We next studied two case companies to comparing the business model in Taiwan and Shanghai respectively and examine what reasons drive them to make such decisions. We finally tried to summarize some key factors that need to pay attention to when doing retail chain business in China and how these factors had their effects upon the different market.
