Work and family both are a vital part of career women in their life, yet the problem between family and career female entrepreneurs are facing are quite different from general career women’s today. However, here our concern is how women create their own life between career and family. The purpose of this study is intended to understand female entrepreneurs’ motivation and difficulties for carrying out their business plans, and their role playing in family in order to give some helpful suggestions for those women who want to create their own business in the future. This study was to conduct an in-depth interview by focusing on 11 female entrepreneurs and 5 their spouses jointly participating in implementing a business plan in order to explore female entrepreneurs’ innermost thoughts while they are busy with their work and family, and find out the problem they are facing during the process of initiating a business plan through detailed records and careful deliberation. The findings of this study were discovered that from the perspective of female entrepreneurs, in the patriarchal male-dominated structure of commercial market, people treating them remained in the anticipation of a traditional female role, but they were glad to see women to have a diverse-role development. Furthermore, a business plan would give the family a positive influence. During the initial stage of implementing a business plan, most female entrepreneurs would take by themselves or ask for their mother-in-law to take the responsibility of looking after their children because of the performance of their duty of motherhood being the importance more than others in a family. When they failed to take care of both work and family concurrently, they would choose to continue developing their own business in lieu of returning home. However, female entrepreneurs have faced the same situation and role anticipation as traditional housewives, which was most related to the education background of their family of origin. Even so, if getting their family’s full support, most female entrepreneurs were able to handle both their work and family very well.
