The unusual mechanical and electrical properties of carbon nanotubes(CNTs) make them an ideal class of reinforcement for composite materials. CNTs have high performance in electrical conductivity. So CNTs well dispersed as fillers can successfully reinforce electrical conductivity of composites. In most cases, CNTs were randomly and uniformly dispersed in the composites, the alignment of CNTs in the composites is rarely discussed. So in this study, the application of dielectrophoresis during nanocomposites curing was used to induce the formation of aligned nanotubes between the electrodes. It is possible to make high electrical conductivity composite materials.
