質子交換膜燃料電池膜電極組MEA (membrane electrode assembly,膜電極組)包含陰極與陽極觸媒電極,兩電極中以高分子電解質膜作連接。電極觸媒層為燃料電池電化學反應核心,是影響燃料電池工作性能最主要關鍵部位,本論文利用氫氣還原Nafion/H2PtCl6注型膜之Pt4+離子成Pt及H2PtCl6-H2O、AB塗佈於碳紙纖維表面,H2PtCl6-AB/Carbon paper 再以氫氣將Pt4+還原成Pt製作觸媒電極。 (1)利用DSC及XRD、TEM研究Nafion/H2PtCl6注型膜經由氫氣還原Pt4+離子之Pt觸媒粒徑及分散性,觀察不同溶劑對注型Nafion/H2PtCl6膜中還原的Pt分佈及Pt粒徑之影響。(2)利用FE-SEM、SEM研究H2PtCl6-AB/Carbon paper的Pt4+離子通氫還原後Pt觸媒粒子在碳紙纖維表面及截面的分佈及Pt含量比例與Pt粒徑。並以TGA分析AB/Carbon paper的Pt loading量。以循環伏安儀(Cycle voltammetry,CV) 探討Pt-AB/Carbon paper之Pt觸媒活性表面積。
In this thesis,we report preparations of two catalyst electrodes for polymer membrane fuel cells (PEMFC). One electrode is prepared by casting from H2PtCl6/Nafion solutions containing various solutions. The Pt4+ ion in the casted thin film is then reduced to Pt by using H2/Ar gas. The influences of solvents on the Pt particles sizes and dispension of Pt particles in the thin film is investigated using XRD (X-ray diffractometer).The other electrode is prepared by coating carbon paper with a AB thin film. And then immersing the AB treated carbon paper in a H2PtCl6 aqueous solution to deposite Pt4+ ion on AB thin film,which is coated on carbon fiber surface. The Pt4+ ion is then reduces to Pt particles. In present work, we show the imidazole group of AB is a good ligand for coordinating Pt4+ ion on carbon fiber surface.
