隨著出生率的降低,台灣社會漸漸有高齡化的趨勢,伴隨著高齡族群的快速成長,一般的醫療看護人員已經無法滿足現在社會的需求,如何讓高齡者與醫療機器互動,將是未來研究的方向。為了能夠設計出讓高齡者與機器人輪椅之間擁有良好的互動,本研究利用啟發式評估法、實驗式法、訪談、系統使用行量表這些方法來進行對介面的評估。並利用使用性評估來對高齡者的實驗資料進行分析與探討,目的在找出介面的問題,並提出改善的建議,以提供未來設計者在設計機器人輪椅介面時的參考。本研究受測對象主要為某養護之家25高齡者以及25位照顧者。研究之實驗設計在介面改善前與介面改善後收集受測者的操作任務時間、錯誤次數以及滿意度分數資料,利用paire-t以及2 proportions檢定分析來進行評估介面改善前與介面改善後受測者在操作介面的學習性、效率、錯誤率以及滿意度之差異。 研究結果發現改變介面流程,讓照顧者先做先前的設定;讓高齡者直接做任務的操作,高齡者在操作任務的平均時間以及錯誤錯數明顯的降低,確實可以減少高齡者的負擔。此外,在研究的過程中也發現在系統內增加適當的回饋訊息給高齡者、將介面的圖形改成與一般大眾習慣的樣子、將按鍵改成文字搭配符號、改善字體大小以及將介面上的語言改成一致性,高齡者在操作任務的平均時間以及錯誤錯數明顯的降低,從中了解到適合高齡者的設計模式。 透過這樣的研究結果,希望能夠為「機器人輪椅觸控式介面」給未來設計者之參考改善之依據,避免後人重蹈覆轍;最後也期許關於人機介面的研究能得到更多的重視。
With the decreasing of birthrate, Taiwan is already an ageing society. Because thenumbers of senior citizens grow fast, medical nursing cannot satisfy with what the society needs. Therefore, how to make the senior citizens and the assistance devices interact well becomesmore important in the ageing society. In order to create a well interacted environment between senior citizens and robotic wheelchairs, this study used the method of heuristic evaluation, experimental, interview,and the system usability scale to evaluate interface.In addition, this study utilized a usability evaluation to analyze and to discuss experimentaldata. The purpose of this study was to explore the problem of touch panelinterfaceused on a wheelchair and gave suggestions of improvements.The participants included senior citizens (N = 25) and caregivers (N= 25) at aseniorcitizens’home. The experiment collected the operation time, the error rate, and the degree of satisfaction scores of participants to discuss the effect of improving user interface. Furthermore, the experiment results were analyzed usingpaired-t and 2 proportions tests to investigate whether the improvedinterface could causedifferences inlearnability, efficiency, error rate reduction, and high satisfaction. The findings of this study about changing the process of interface was that the average time and error rate of senior citizens’ operation task obviously reduced and decreased the burden of senior citizens. Moreover, other findings about reducing operation task of average time and error rate were that system raised appropriate feedbacks to senior citizens, the figures of interface modified, the press keys collocated characters and symbols, the size of words changed, and language on the interfacewere consistent. According to these findings, the researcher found a touch panel design model that issuitable for senior citizens with using a robitic weelchair. Generally, the research findings recognize the value of touch interface of a robotic wheelchair and develop a rich framework for understanding the research of human-computer interaction.
