智慧型手機產業在台灣的演進

摘要


目前手機在大眾的擁有的科技產品中佔的比重越來越重,而近年來智慧型手機的市場規模有逐漸追上傳統型手機的趨勢,因而台灣智慧型手機產業也出現了變化,本研究採個案研究及縱向研究觀察台灣智慧型手機產業的演進發展,主要採用次級資料與持續進行之記錄來進行分析,從市調機構、手機廠商官網、與手機資料網站蒐集2004年到2011年間的手機產業資料,包括產業環境訊息、產品規格資料與其他互補產品等資料進行分析,並與科技創新相關理論相互印證,以驗證實際創新科技之形成與科技創新形成相關理論是否有一致性。本研究認為iPhone是台灣智慧型手機產業的標燈產品,且iPhone的出現將台灣智慧型手機產業劃分成兩個時期,分別是前期智慧型手機與近期智慧型手機。

Smartphone has become an important part of our technology products and the scale of smartphone market has become bigger than feature phone. This research used case study and longitudinal study to observe the evolutional development of the smartphone industry in Taiwan, using secondary data and feature records to analyze the industry trends. The sources of data mainly come from news and mobile’s manual of the manufactures from 2004 to 2011, also including mobile’s specifications and other complimentary data. These data is used to verify the consistency between innovation theories and reality. The find of this research is that iPhone is a beacon product of the industry in Taiwan, and iPhone has divided Taiwan smartphone industry into two period which are former smartphone and recent smartphone.
