液晶顯示器製程條件對框膠附著力的影響探討

摘要


一般用的手機用的顯示面板較為輕薄,常在經由模組組裝過程中,發生面板分離的問題,必須要將面板的框膠附著強度需要提升至手機消費市場需求,才能夠打入ㄧ線手機大廠的供應鏈(如Nokia、Motorola、SDI、LG…)。本研究固定了相同框膠下與實驗線,改變液晶顯示器面板在設計面的製程條件:框膠塗佈寬度、彩色濾光板黑色矩陣型式、樣品拋光加工,以材料測試機來測試出各條件的框膠破斷強度後,並分析各條件的框膠附著力表現,再以掃描式電子顯微鏡觀察分離現象與附著力的關連性。為將框膠附著力量化,採用材料力學的拉伸測試,所採用的性質是測試最大抗拉強度值,分析出各製程條件的框膠附著力所造是否能夠達到強度20N(約2kg-此為遠高於人工在模組組裝過程的施力)的目標。將提升框膠附著強度有較高貢獻度的製程條件再進行研究成果確認,經實驗結果確認將AlNiLa 黑色矩陣的彩色濾光板搭配0.9mm 的框膠塗佈寬度後,不論產品厚度為0.5mm、0.4mm、0.3mm都可以達到20N以上的框膠附著力表現,有效防止液晶顯示器面板在模組加工過程發生分離。另以掃描式電子顯微鏡觀察分離現象與附著力的關連性,發現框膠附著力約大於20N後在Color Filter板上有正向增加的趨勢。

Display panels common for cell phone used are thinner, however, it is usually has problems with panel separating during the process of assembling. Therefore, it needs to promote the strength of sealent to the demanding for cell phone consumer market, and enable enter the supply chains of top cell phone companies (such as Nokia, Motorola, SDI, LG…).In this study, we fixed the same sealent (photosensitive acrylic resin) and experimental line, and changed the process conditions in design of LCD panels, such as: sealent dispersing width, color filter black matrix type, sample polishing. We tested the sealent peeling strength for each condition by material testing machine, and analyzed each condition’s performance of sealent adhesion. Then we observed the correlation of peeling phenomenon and adhesion by SEM.In order to quantify the strength of sealent peeling, we analyzed the sealent adhesion for each process condition whether achieve the target of 20N (about 2kg, this value is superior than module assembling force by human made).We confirmed the research result of process conditions with higher sealent adhesion, and concluded that AlNiLa black matrix color filter with 0.9mm sealent dispersing can achieve the performance over 20N adhesion, no matter the sample is 0.5, 0.4 or 0.3mm. It can prevent LCD panel peel during module assemble process. And we found that adhesion over 20N have a tendency of positive increasing on color filter subsrate by observing the correlation of peeling phenomenon and adhesion by SEM.
