TFT-LCD點燈測試作業人員視覺機能異常之三年追蹤研究

Abnormality of Visual Function among Light-on Test Workers in TFT-LCD Industries: A Three-Year Longitudinal Study

摘要


研究背景:TFT-LCD點燈檢測作業員為檢測產品良窳,需長時間於無塵室內注視螢幕,並於過程中接受不同顏色畫面之閃爍,本研究之目的為瞭解從事此一目檢工作,對於作業員視覺之影響。 研究方法:1. 在橫斷式研究部份,於2004年與2005年針對點燈測試作業人員進行問卷調查與眼科理學檢查。問卷內容包括人口學資料、自覺不適症狀與眼科理學結果。利用問卷調查與理學檢查結果探討作業員視覺機能異常之盛行率,以及可能與作業員視覺機能異常相關的因子。2. 縱貫式研究:比對2001年與2004年皆有人口學資料、自覺不適症狀與眼科理學結果之作業員其不適症狀與視覺機能的結果,瞭解從事點燈測試作業三年後人員的視覺機能是否有所變化。 研究結果:在橫斷式研究中,1030位點燈測試人員視覺疲勞盛行率為66.1%,以眼睛乾澀、眼睛癢與眼睛紅為其主訴的不適症狀。從事面板點燈作業人員在近距離無法明視、複視與眼睛分泌物增加的盛行率顯著高於模組點燈部門人員;工作配戴隱形眼鏡與人員視覺暫留及眼睛紅等不適症狀相關。理學檢查結果顯示,174位(16.9%)作業員淚液分泌不足,有13.6%作業員辨色能力低下,配戴隱形眼鏡的人員有慢性結膜炎的盛行率高於不戴隱形眼鏡工作的人員;模組點燈部門的作業員則是有較高的辨色能力低下盛行率。另以追蹤調查51位點燈測試人員三年後視覺機能的結果,並沒有發現其工作年資、工作配戴隱形眼鏡、工作部門對其視覺機能異常變化的有所影響。 結論:點燈檢測作業由於需要長時間注視電腦螢幕,因此為降低視覺疲勞的產生,應於作業中安排適當的休息時間,同時應避免在工作時配戴隱形眼鏡,以減輕對眼睛的負擔,降低眼睛不適的情形。

Object: To ensure the display of quality of LCD panels, the light-on test workers should look at screens and accept the flickering in clean rooms for long working hours. The aim of this study is to know the visual influence among the operators deal with eye check. Method: 1. This research took the light-on test workers as subjects to receive questionnaire survey and ophthalmic test in the cross-sectional study from 2004 to 2005. The questionnaire included the information about personal data, history of eye disease, and self-reported ophthalmic symptoms. The results of questionnaire and ophthalmic test were used to examine the prevalence of abnormality of visual function and evaluate potential predictors for abnormality of visual function among these workers. 2. There were 51 light-on test workers in 3-year longitudinal study population. The information about eye discomfort and ophthalmic test in 2001 and 2004 were compared to find out the risk factors of abnormality of visual function. Result: 1.There were 66.1% subjects complained of eye discomfort. Eye dryness, eye itching and red eyes were main syndromes of self-reported eye discomfort with higher prevalence. The prevalence of blurred vision at near distance, double vision and increase discharge were significantly greater in LCD Light-on test stations than in LCM Light-on test stations. Higher prevalence of after image and red eyes related with wearing contact lens in working hours. Ophthalmic test showed there were 174 operators (16.9%) had tear secretion dysfunction and 13.6% of subjects had low ability of chromatic discrimination. Statistic analysis showed the prevalence of low ability of chromatic discrimination was significantly greater in LCM Light-on test stations than in LCD Light-on test stations. And wearing contact lens was a potential predictor for chronic conjunctivitis. 2. The results of 3-year longitudinal study showed the employment duration, wearing contact lens during task, work stations didn’t related to the abnormality of visual function among 51 light-on test workers. Conclusion: The light-on test workers need to look at monitors with long working hours. We suggested these workers should take breaks every hour and avoid wearing contact lens during work to lower their eye discomfort.
