本研究為一橫斷性研究,研究目的為探討台灣自閉症候群兒童於學校與家庭兩不同情境其適應行為表現之差異,並分析自閉症候群兒童適應行為特殊表現型態以及進一步探討何為影響適應行為表現之因素,以做為教育計劃與介入方案之參考。研究對象為106名6至17歲自閉症候群兒童,研究工具以適應行為評量系統第二版(Adaptive Behavior Assessment System Second Edition ,ABAS-II)做為自閉症候群兒童適應行為表現之評估,並同時蒐集本量表家長版與教師版評估之適應行為領域於不同情境表現之差異,另以魏氏系列智力測驗與社會反應性量表(The Social Responsiveness Scale , SRS)做為評估自閉症候群而同其認知功能、自閉症症狀嚴重度之表現,並進一步分析與適應行為關聯性。結果顯示,在不同情境中,自閉症候群兒童其適應行為領域中之實用技巧於家庭情境表現顯著較學校情境佳。另自閉症候群兒童若認知功能越佳,適應行為表現越好;而自閉症症狀程度越嚴重,適應行為表現越差。認知功能表現與自閉症症狀嚴重度皆能顯著預測自閉症候群兒童之適應功能表現。
This is a cross-sectional study.The purpose of the study is to investigate the patterns of adaptive behavior domains in difference situations (at home and at home) in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and further examine the relationship among adaptive behavior domains, cognitive ability and severity of autism symptoms. Through the study, we can provide a reference in the education plans and intervention program. The 106 participants, age 6 to 17 with ASD, use ABAS-II report by paired with parent and teacher to compare the difference of adaptive behavior domains at school and at home ,and use Wechsler Intelligence Scale and SRS (as measured by SRS at school and at home) with ABAS-II to examine the relationship among adaptive behavior ,cognitive ability, and severity of autism symptoms. Results shows that children with ASD had better practical skills at home than at school, a significantly positive relationship between adaptive behavior ability and cognitive ability, and a significantly negative relationship between adaptive behavior ability and severity of autistic symptom. Both cognitive ability and the severity of autistic symptoms can predict outcome of adaptive behavior.
