摘 要 背景﹕疲勞會影響運動員的運動表現,適時補充營養補給品能協助運動員延緩疲勞、體力快速恢復,將探討山竹果汁對於運動員在運動表現上的幫助。目的﹕評估攝取山竹果汁對於運動員是否具有抗疲勞的功能,並能夠增進運動表現延長運動時間。方法﹕本研究採交叉雙盲試驗,以13名健康大學生為受試者,所有受試者必須接受二循環運動試驗,分別在運動前一小時單次攝取山竹果汁250 ml(GC組) (含275 mg HCA)或安慰劑250 ml(PL組),並隨機分配兩種飲料補充之先後順序給受試者,受試者在原地腳踏車機上進行漸增負荷之耐力性運動測驗,以最大攝氧量的60%騎原地腳踏車30分鐘,30分鐘後開始以每2分鐘增加15W的負荷,直到自主性力竭,並於14天排空期後,進行交替增補,以完成交叉試驗。在實驗結束後,收集心跳率、力竭時間、RPE、血液生化值、肌肉僵硬度、心理情緒數據,以便陸續分析。結果﹕攝取山竹果汁在運動中第30分鐘的心跳率,GC組顯著低於PL組,運動時間、肌肉疲勞、血液生化值、POMS、RPE皆無統計差異。結論﹕運動前單次攝取山竹果汁對於運動員可以降低第30 分鐘心跳率,其他指標則無統計差異。
Abstract Background: Fatigue affects athletes’ performance. Ample research shows that adequate dietary supplements may able to delay athletes’ fatigue and help them restore stamina. Purpose: To evaluate the effects of the ingestion of Garcinia Cambogia (GC)juice on the delay of fatigue and exercise performance. Methods: In this study, double-blind crossover experimental design was used. A total of 13 healthy college students were randomly assigned to two groups: (1) GC group with 250 ml ingestion of Garcinia Cambogia juice , include HCA 275 mg, and (2) PL group with 250 ml ingestion of placebo.With the random order of ingestion. All subjects performed 2 times of exercise test which was the maximal oxygen uptake (VO2 max) test on stationary bikes. It started with a 30-minute exercise with 60 % VO2 max. Afterwards, the resistance increased 15 watts every 2 minutes until maximum exertion. After a 14-day wash out, the crossover experiment was completed. Data of heart rate, exhaustion time, Rating of perceived exertion, blood biochemical values, muscle stiffness, and mood states were collected for further analysis. Results: The participants in the GC group have significantly lower level of heart rate in the thirty minutes of the exercise when compared to those in the PL group. There are no significant differences between those two groups when analyzing the statistics of exercise time, the muscle fatigue, the blood biochemical values, Profile of mood state and Rating of perceived exertion. Conclusion: The acute ingestion of Garcinia Cambogia juice before the exercise can lower the athletes’ heart rate in the thirty minutes.However, there are no significant differences in other statistical indicators.
