牙周補綴應用於慢性牙周炎之廣泛考量與臨床應用

牙科操作者對於牙周及贋復治療的需求愈來愈強烈，這是因為年長病患的增加，對於牙周病的認知愈來愈多，以及病人對美觀及功能的需求愈來愈高，牙周贋復治療長期的成功率，受到幾個因素的影響，像是健康的支台齒、健全的咬合觀念，及維復性治療這此因素的影響。牙周贋復治療是一種多原則性的治療方針，它的目標是重建有中度至重度邊緣性牙周炎和進行中及不可逆性牙齒動搖的口腔狀況予以重建，將齒列生理性及功能性的關係以及它的支持結構，藉由牙周和贋復的治療，予以重建和穩定下來，常需要伴隨著根管、矯正，以及口腔外科的手術，如此複雜的治療方式，需要有整合性的診斷和十分謹慎的治療計劃。於牙周補綴整體治療過程中，醫病間之良善溝通與配合是長久維持與成功的重要因素；有計劃、有效率、有系統的全方位全口復健則是牙周補綴的科學依據，醫療科技日新月異，只要能防患於未然，有效控制病況、減少療程痛苦、時間與花費且恢復咬合、發音、咀嚼及美觀等功能，將是云云眾生為牙周病或無牙所苦者之福音。

There is a lot of demand for dental practitioners to integrate periodontal and prosthetic therapy. This is due to increasing numbers of old patients, and the awareness of periodontal and occlusal pathosis, to enhance public awareness of periodontal disease, and to a growing widespread desire to preserve our natural or restore dentitions in good health, function, and esthetics. Long-term success in periodontal prosthetic treatment depends on case design that is influenced by the healthy abutment teeth, sound occlusal concepts and maintenance therapy. Periodontal-prosthetics is a multidisciplinary therapeutic regimen that has as its goal the reestablishment of oral health of the patient with moderate to advanced marginal periodontitis and associated progressive and irreversible tooth mobility. The physiologic form and function of the dentition and its supporting structures are restored and stabilized by means of combined periodontal and prosthetic therapy, supplemented when required by endodontic, orthodontic, and oral surgical procedures. Such a complex therapeutic effort requires a coordinated approach to diagnosis and a carefully orchestrated treatment plan. During the periodontal prosthesis treatment, communication between the dental practitioner and patients is the key factor to the successful therapy. A well planned, effective, and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan is the main points of periodontal prosthesis treatment. Even though, scientific technology progresses rapidly, only by effective preventive measures, efficient control of existing conditions, reducing chair side time, reducing cost, at same time restoring occlusal function, restoring verbal function, restoring chewing and esthetic function, can the patients of advance periodontitis enjoy full benefit of periodontal prosthesis.
