在擺蕩中潛行：由空間裝置、身體行為到影像媒介的創作演繹

摘要

本篇論述的基本架構，是將創作歷程當中的幾個主要階段及轉變，做更細緻的、全面的、完整的自我剖析。進一步地重新發掘，創作演繹過程之間的因果關係。尤其試圖釐清，自身的創作形式是如何從對物質性的雕塑關注發展到空間裝置，再由空間裝置導引到身體行為，進而轉向影像等複合媒體的創作演練。
在看似差異性頗大且不斷流轉的創作歷程中所顯現的訊息是一種：企圖經由不同的創作形式演練，對創作中所操作的物質材料、使用工具、表現媒介及藝術形式提出一種質疑。然而這個質疑的態度最終根本的對象就是創作主體本身。似乎，幾年來不斷地嘗試以不同的提問方式、不同的切入角度，企圖回應自己在創作上所面臨的問題。這個問題基本上是架構在尋找主體創作觀、藝術觀以及生命態度的發展歷程。
在撰寫論述的過程之中逐漸地發覺，這幾年的創作發展脈絡，其實脫離不了在媒介本質、空間、時間、以及自我的身體等課題上發展。尤其是彼此相互交疊、演繹的部分。因此，我的創作大致而言可區分幾個型態：一、物質性強烈的雕塑；二、介入空間的複合媒體；三、身體行為介入的空間裝置；四、影像與身體行的關係；五、影像的本質；六、影像與時間的關係。
本論述的主體架構也就是依循創作演化的歷程加以撰寫，其內容部分
，有些是從創作當時的手札、筆記或創作草稿中整理出來的。有的文字是現在撰寫創作論述重新反思後的描述。

The essential structure of this dissertation is to make several principal transformation stages of the creating progress more detail, comprehensive and integral self- analysis. Furthermore, to makes re-excavates of the causal relation with the creating deduction process. The thing particularly should make it clear is how to develops from the materiality sculpture attention to the spatial installment, then leads the spatial installment to the body behavior operation; moreover, to turn into the operation training of images and compound media.
Within the creating course which looks with large diversity and unceasing circulation, it is an appear message; to attempt training via distinct creating form, and bring up the query of the substance material, the implement, the performing medium and the artistic form. However, the inquiry attitude finally points toward the creating principal subject. As though, the author unceasingly experiments to adopt different methods of inquiry, and to respond my question by cut into different angles, That is essentially about oneself seeking the primary subject of creating concept, artistic view as well as the career of life attitude.
It is found gradually that creation development thread for years revolves among the medium essence, spatial, timeliness, as well as to develop on the issue of self body of the constant creation; especially on the portion of mutual overlaps and deduction between the element and the element. Approximately, it can be divided into diverse creating models: First, intense materiality sculpture. Second, spatial compound media. Third, spatial installment with body involves. Fourth, relation between image and body. Fifth, essence of image. Sixth, relation of image and time.
The chief structure of this dissertation is tracing the process of creating evolution; sections of the content are organized from the creating hand note or the creating rough draft. Fraction of the description is describing the creation elaboration which is following the introspection.
