摘要


我想透過水墨媒材去編織一個寓言故事,我不希望它很現實。一種屬於現代的寓言,是一個有關於台灣消費文化背後可能「嫁接」出來的寓言故事。在這樣的寓言發展下,重新嫁接台灣這地方或這城市有關消費的生活空間,將這些城市消化不了或正在消化的在地及外來文化符碼重新拼貼,塑造成一段新的歷史影像,一個台灣當代消費文化影像經驗的偽實。企圖形塑ㄧ幅台灣常民文化的地景與空間想像。 由於外來文化的侵入,關於台灣這都市空間中視覺經驗的一種麻痺,筆者以水墨或彩墨素材演繹出台灣都市人普遍生活中訊息化的社會影像經驗,將日常生活中已經出現及可能出現的符號物件,虛構成一個偽實水墨圖記。 透過水墨材質,以疑似精采的「標準鏡頭」去捕捉這些時空元素,非述說一個深度一個歷史,而是製造一個「斷裂」,一種沒有大敘事背景的寓言故事來處理「真實」這個存在,它不僅指涉一種物理狀態,也指涉向一種心理的距離:讓「真實」這件事可能是在一種主體性不完全下所建構出來的一個「想像」,突顯出著日常經驗中那種曖昧的可能,突顯出對消費文化乃至整體文化溝隙和矛盾的注意,讓這樣的「想像」成為我寓言編織的內容。

I want to tell a fable, which is not very realistic and to deal with a modern fable which can be “grafted” out from behind its culture. Under the development of such a fable, the city's living space will be re-grafted , the city’s digested or indigested cultural codes are re-collaged. Giving a new way to write history, and a pseudo-real visual experiences in Taiwan are what I want to present—the culture of ordinary people in Taiwan and space to imagine the landscape. As for the paralysis about visual experience in the city life, I will interpret the image experiences of the message in social life, try to summon the objects which appear in our daily life, and make up something about pseudo-reality.    Through the ink painting creation, with a "standard lens", I capture the spatial and temporal distance, not to tell a depth of a history, but to create a "rupture", a background of no major narrative story to deal with "real" in this state, which not only refers to physical state, but also points to a psychological distance: let "real" may be an “imagination” created under an incomplete subjective construction so as to call on the probability of ambiguity in daily experiences and the communication gaps and contradiction notes. Let this kind of “imagination” be the beginning of my fable.
