「唸歌仔」是台灣泛稱邊唱邊講故事的說唱,是早期農業社會百姓重要的休閒娛樂,從市井小民暇時的歌詠,到街頭賣藝人的唸歌講古,在在反映當時的社會生活,吐露平民百姓的心聲。擅長唸歌仔的藝人不僅要有講故事的口才,還要有即興創作的才華,包括彈奏月琴、歌唱的音樂能力。最近坊間翻錄許多以前流行的唸歌仔重新上市,讓我們再次聆賞到早期的唸歌仔藝術。本文即以過去曾是廣播界名人的呂柳仙與楊秀卿為研究對象,探析唸歌仔的產生背景、歷史源流,以及他們演唱《周成過台灣》所使用的曲牌、唱詞、唱本和呈現出來的音樂風格與特色,以探究他們傳唱台灣傳奇故事的藝術成就與貢獻。
Liam-koa-a is a general term of amusement with singing and story telling. It is important leisure recreation in Taiwan’s agricultural society of early days. From common people’s singing to street performers’ story telling, all of which not only reflect the life of that age but also articulate for the civilians. Those artists who are good at Liam-koa-a must have a genius for story telling and improvisation, including playing the four stringed instrument(Yue-chin, the Moon Lute)and singing. Many Liam-koa-a which used to be popular in the early age are re-issued recently so that we can enjoy the art of them. This thesis focuses on the research of artists Leu Leou-shian and Yang Hsiu-ching, both of whom used to be famous broadcasters, analyzing the background of Liam-koa-a and the application of koa-a-pho (song books). Besides, the tune types, lyrics and libretto they utilized and the music style and characteristics they performed in Chou Cheng Come to Taiwan will also be examined to appreciate their artistic achievements and contributions to singing the Taiwanese legends.
