電影作品《狗日午後》創作論述

摘要


《狗日午後》是一部關於筆者如何對生活中的小幸福下定義的三十分鐘瘋狂喜劇。故事描述情場大浪子-阿偉藉由網路交友平台約了化名為性感小野貓的網友見面,沒想到見面後才發現性感的「他」竟是「她」,在一連串逗趣諷刺的對話與荒謬詭譎的劇情發展之下,阿偉看著好友阿茂與小野貓的熱吻,終於領悟出了何謂生命中的小幸福。 筆者並未特意將影片按照某一種電影類型公式安排結構走向,但在影片呈現方式及手法上,的確是偏向於超現實方向進行。為突顯本片的「瘋狂」特質,無論是在表演、造型、美術與聲音設計,筆者皆將其誇張放大,讓觀影者在觀賞影片的同時彷彿進入遊樂場一般。 幸福是瞬間的,即便稍縱即逝;幸福是簡單的,不需要太多調味料,即使身處逆境,在這個物價狂飆人人喊苦的年代,我們的生活需要更多小幸福。筆者認為,生活中的幸福無處不在,原本令人心煩的人事物,或許只需轉換個心境,悲劇就會變成喜劇。本片利用性別議題,再加入友情與愛情的元素,構築成一部輕鬆愉快的喜劇, 而本論述之劇本分析部份嘗試以三幕劇架構檢視本片,另一部份則詳述本片攝影、光影、色彩、美術設計、聲音部份,解析本片的風格與美學,以及全片製作執行的過程與檢討。

Wonderful Day is an eccentric comedy on how the little happiness that we find in life is defined. The story plot describes how KasaNova, a Casanova figure, asks out a friend, alias Sexy Kitten, whom he met on the Internet. Upon meeting her, KasaNova found out that Sexy Kitten is not a she, but a he! The story unfolds in an intertwining of witty banters and sarcastic conversations mixed with absurd, and sometimes even laughable, events. In the end, our hero has an epiphany, watching his best friend passionately French kissing the transvestite, and came to the realization of what happiness in life really means. The film was not written to fit into any particular genre, nor was frame established beforehand to force it into following any conventional "formula." However, the approach and the presentation of the film itself does tend to progress in the direction of surrealism. To emphasize the element of 'madness', many aspects of the film were exaggerated; such as performance styles, makeup and costumes, art directions, and the sound design. The intended goal was to give the audience a carnivalesque experience, to make them feel as if there are in an amusement park. The plot analysis section of this thesis attempts to examine Wonderful Day with a three-act play structure. In another section, or closer look at cinematography, coloring, artistic designs, and sound designs will be taken to analyze this style and the aesthetics for this film. There will also be a discussion to examine the executive process of the production.
