摘要

音樂家舒曼（Robert Alexander Schumann, 1810-1856）與詩人艾森朵夫（Joseph Freiherr von Eichendorff, 1788-1857）皆為德國浪漫主義時期的重要代表人物。舒曼自小受到文學及音樂的薰陶，並且經過了其生活的錘鍊，進而導致他有著對音樂及文學精細的敏銳度。舒曼擅長將所選取的詩詞融合旋律，創作成藝術歌曲，使得詩詞的藝術價值昇華。他一共創作了兩百多首藝術歌曲，在他一生中創作的音樂作品裡，扮演著舉足輕重的份量。《聯篇歌曲，作品39》，以詩人艾森朵夫的十二首詩作為此組作品的歌詞內容，經過其精細的創作手法，使得此組作品成為了藝術性極高的作品。
　　本文以舒曼的生平及藝術歌曲為出發，再探究詩人艾森朵夫的生平，進而對《聯篇歌曲，作品39》進行音樂分析及演唱詮釋的探討。期望藉本研究對此作品的內涵及意境有更深層的認識，演唱更為深刻動人。

Robert Alexander Schumann（1810-1856）and Joseph Freiherr von Eichendorff （1788-1857） were both influential German artists during the Romantic period. Since young, Schumann was surrounded with literatures and music, and later went through hardships that tempered his character, these would contribute to his refined perception towards music and literatures. Schumann was very good at selecting texts for his art songs, so that it could fit the melody line. Through this effort, it also raised the value of the literature itself. Schumann composed around two hundred art songs, which played a significant role in his composition works. Schumann’s song cycle, Liederkreis Op.39, is a good example of it. The lyrics are based on poems by Eichendorff. And through the composer’s refined musical effort, these two elements molded together and produced work of highly artistic value.
This thesis will focus on Schumann’s life and his art songs, Eichendorff’s life, and the music analysis and interpretation of Liederkreis Op.39. Through this research, I sought to gain a deeper understanding of this song cycle, bringing the performance and interpretation into a higher level.
