從恐懼與舞台符號探討品特《房間》舞台空間設計之形成

摘要

本文將以展演製作《房間》一劇之舞台設計為研究案例，透過劇作家哈洛•品特的創作及成長背景，探討關於「恐懼」情緒之形成，以及人在面對恐懼時的各種反應，並將其與文本分析、視覺分析等前製研究作業轉化成舞台符號及其他設計元素，運用於實際演出之中。試探討如何從設計元素去轉換成一個實境表演空間，並將其過程建構出一個設計脈絡及方法，同時藉由此研究以及製作、設計過程之回顧，反看自己的優、缺點進行反思，以期許往後更加進步。

This study is aim to discuss the formation of “fear” as well as a variety of reactions when people are in face of fear by analyzing the production《The Room》by Harold Pinter. I transformed text analysis and visual research into stage semiotics and other design elements, and utilized them in the actual production, trying to discover how to transfer design elements to real performance space. In the process, my design context and method was built, and through the review of designing process, I looked back my own strengths and weakness for perusing better method in the future.
