The study discusses video games which are conformable to emotional design, the presence that whether it affects players to feel like being present at places and the immersion where sensations are submerged. In our experimental design, Xbox 360 Kinect develped by Microsoft and one video game on the platform of Xbox 360, which quadrates with factors of emotional design are adopted for understanding whether the fators in the emotional aspect have positive effect on the playing experience from users. On the manipulating screen of motion detection, the mission scenarios in the game are expected to prompt the eruption of users’emotion and, therefore, the feeling of presence and immersion can be highlighted. The experiment discusses the effect of the visceral, behavioral and reflective levels to presence and immersion as factor. The experimental results indicate that the emotional design has positive effect on the sensation of presence, perceptional involvement of distraction and immersion, emotional involvement, and challenge.
