由於人的一生,大部份的時間是在職場渡過,因此,工作場所為實施健康促進活動最具成效的地方。本研究目的旨在瞭解職場員工參與健康促進活動與其健康體能之相關性;研究樣本為台南地區某公立精神專科醫院任職一年以上之員工,以個案研究方式,並以參與活動之種類、頻率為主要分類,再以同一分層中未參加健康促進活動者為對照組,探討其間各體適能檢測指標之關聯性,據以評估健康促進活動之成效。 檢測結果實驗組樣本平均心肺適能檢測數據明顯提升外,各分組間因參與活動之種類、頻率不同,其心肺適能、身體組成、肌力及肌耐力、柔軟度等檢測數據亦有明顯差異。有鑒於職場健康促進計畫的高參與率者傾向具有較佳的健康體能水準,本研究認為規律運動的生活型態是達到健康效益的理想策略,而透過健康促進計畫的教育、引導等執行步驟,將能使職場健康促進活動的介入獲致成功。
As most people spend the major part of their time at work, workplace is the best place to implement the health promotion programs. This objective of this study is to investigate the correlation between the extent of the involvement in health promotion activities and the health status of the participants. The subjects in the present study are the employees of a public mental specialty hospital in the region of Tainan county. The subjects in the experimental group were further categorized by the types of activity and the frequency they involved and the employees who did not participate any similar activity were assigned as the control group. The efficacy of the health promotion program was evaluated through the fitness index of the participating subjects. The results suggested that the average index of cardiopulmonary suitability of the experimental subjects considerably increases, though variation of other fitness index was found among the subjects participating different activities. Based on the results indicating that the involvement in the health promotion activity positively correlate with the better health status, this study concluded that exercises on the regular basis is the best strategy to achieve better health status. In addition, a successful health promotion programs at workplace relies on the thorough design as well as communication.
