數據本位教學對提升閱讀理解能力成效之研究: 以國小五年級資源班學生為對象

摘要


本研究為探討數據本位教學(Data-Based Individualization)對提升閱讀理解能力之成效。採單一受試之撤回倒反設計。以新竹市某國小三位資源班學生為研究對象,自變項為數據本位教學,依變項為閱讀理解成效。在研究前後,以標準化測驗評估學生在閱讀理解表現的進步成效,在研究期間,以口語朗讀流暢度測驗和研究者自編文意理解測驗作為瞭解學生在閱讀理解能力進步表現之依據。研究共分為基線期(A1)、數據本位教學(B1)、基線期(A2)、數據本位教學(B2)等四階段。本研究資料分為量化資料和質性資料,量化資料部分以目視分析方式,瞭解研究對象的閱讀理解能力表現;質性資料部分,以半結構式訪談方式進行,並將訪談資料組織與分類,予以統整歸納。歸納出以下結論: 一、數據本位教學介入後,對五年級資源班語文低成就學生的閱讀理解表現有明顯成效,但在標準化測驗中較無顯著進步。 二、數據本位教學介入後,學生在口語朗讀流暢度測驗表現中有提升,顯示口語朗讀流暢度測驗可以作為預測閱讀理解表現的指標。 三、教學者認為與過去教學歷程相比,以數據做為調整教學的依據能提升學生的閱讀理解表現。 四、教學者認為在數據本位教學期間,學生在各方面有不同的進步。 五、教學者認為數據本位教學適合運用在教學現場中,但仍有部分限制。 最後,彙整研究結果與限制進行綜合討論,並提出對教學現場實務與未來研究之建議。

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the Data-Based Individualization (DBI) model to enhance the reading comprehension of reading low achievers. A single-subject experiment design of A-B-A-B will be applied. Three fifth-graders in a resource room will participate in this study. Two standardized reading tests will be used as the pre- and post-tests, while oral reading fluency and research-made reading comprehension measures will be applied during the different phases of the study (baseline A1, DBI B1, baseline A2, DBI B2). Quantitative and qualitative data will be collected and analyzed by visual analysis and categorization. The study finding are as follows: 1.After DBI, the overall reading comprehension of the participating, children in a resource room were improved, but there is no significant improvement in standardized tests 2.After DBI, the overall oral reading fluency of the participating, children in a resource room were improved, which shows that ORF can be a prediction of reading comprehension. 3.Using data as a basis for adjusting teaching can improve students’ reading comprehension. 4.The teacher uses DBI, not only improving reading comprehension but also others aspects. 5.Teachers can use DBI in class, but there are some restrictions. Finally, based on the research conclusion, implications for practice and future research are provided.
