摘要


本研究欲探討企業在面臨成長、轉型、降低風險、挖掘新利基市場等多重發展選擇時,所會採取的方法途徑,而多角化是最常見的途徑手段之ㄧ。企業成立和成長背景各異,會因不同經驗塑成獨有的核心能力,利用核心能耐和共同資源基礎來發展新領域,期達到減少不必要的浪費和增加企業價值績效。公司針對技術多角化策略和知識學習企業內部運作模式,除了探討個別的功能和對企業的貢獻外,更深入去研究兩者結合所能帶來的效益和兩者之間的交互作用,以及對企業運作績效的影響。本論文檢視技術多角化和知識學習如何幫助企業創新、重組、開創更高的經營價值。 本論文利用多個公司的策略行動個案,探討電子、光電業公司的技術多角化如何透過知識學習以多角化到新領域的發展,而企業會選擇技術相似性且凝聚力高的技術知識以改善或創新研發,能提高拓展新市場或開發新產品的成功機會。而產品、管理、顧客的知識若能有交集的學習和結合應用,可以強化技術多角化的能力和速度,並能將過去的經驗以同化、移轉、應用到下一次的策略行動行為,能減少企業轉型或創新的風險並達到產品、製程、應用技術的綜效效益。本研究除了將深入探討策略行動技術多角化的途徑和知識學習軌跡,並比較彼此之間的相異點。

This research explores the process of technological diversification of firms upon confronting business’ growth, transforms, risk reduction, and niche market creation through knowledge learning. With different background characterized by specific core technology abilities, Technology firms often use the firm’s key talent and critical resources to create new market field to reduce the waste and improve business performance. This research examines technological diversification and knowledge learning of firms’ operating model, study each strategic move’s function and contributions. The main research hypothesis is that combination of the technological diversification and knowledge learning would increase efficiency and interaction which would benefit the strategic moves and enhance performance. The synergies arising from the interactions of the three types of knowledge relatedness significantly improve the research and development performance of the multi-business corporation. This research explores four strategic moves of two small &medium size electronic companies, examining how knowledge learning could enhance technological diversification to expand the business field. The project teams would choose the neighboring technologies to improve research results to explore the niche markets. Products, management, and customers’ knowledge interaction and combination can enforce the speed and ability of technological diversification. Past experience could help assimilate the spillovers and apply to initiate the next strategic move that can reduce the risks while achieving the synergy of products, process, and application technologies. In the end, the research analyzes the overall performance and compares the differences among the strategic moves.
