摘要 台灣發展IC半導體初期,舉凡聯電,華邦,華隆微與旺宏等都是設計與生產製造一體的整合製造元件公司(IDM)。隨著張忠謀先生創立晶圓代工模式而使 IC 半導體分工更為精細。之後,聯電,合泰及旺宏等等公司做了將製造與設計分開的經營策略。 個案中的W公司是至目前為止, 台灣僅存的 IDM 公司。其將在今年(2008年)七月一日將公司邏輯產品切割出去成立一家新的公司- N公司,N公司同時擁有一座6吋晶圓廠。故切割後的W和N公司,基本上都還是IDM形式的公司。本文即在探討W公司的優勢與劣勢及其所處的競爭環境,對切割獨立邏輯產品線的策略,是否有其他更有效率的做法? 關鍵字: 記憶體IC,邏輯IC,整合製造元件公司(IDM) Abstract In Taiwan Semiconductor IC early age,such as UMC,Winbond,Hualong and Macronix are integrated design and manufacturing company (IDM)。With the creation of Mr. Zhang Zhongmou,IC foundry model is more sophisticated semiconductor division。After that UMC , Holtek and Macronix ,and so on done separately from the manufacturing and design of business strategy。 Within the case is so far the only Taiwan's IDM company。It will this year (2008) on July 1 would be logical products companies spin out the establishment of a new company - N company,N company also has a 6-inch wafer fab。 Therefore,after cutting the W and N,still forms of IDM companies。This paper is to study the W's strengths and weaknesses and the competitive environment in which the logic company of cutting an independent product line strategy, whether there are other more efficient approach。 Keyword:memory IC, logic IC, integrated device manufacturing (IDM)
