The importance of green supplier assessment and filtering in supply chain raise progressively, while the environmental consciousness and consumer’s awareness to eco-friendly concept is getting more and more important nowadays. Policies and measures related to green supply chains develop in many areas. First, this research aims to formulate a filtering mechanism in picking the appropriate supply chain members for implementing the green policies, through the combination of two methods, Factor Rating System and Analytic Hierarchy Process. This methodology is proposed to balance the effect caused between individual and group, finding a way to set the weighting of factors in filtering mechanism. The decision maker can adjust the importance on two methods to meet the requirements. Factors considering contain the scale of supply chain, characteristics, energy consuming, etc. Second, this research summarizes the incentives for implementing the green policies and measures through the data collection and analysis.
