一個在PU層加速HEVC編碼的演算法

A Fast PU Level Encoding Method in High Efficiency Video Coding

摘要


JCT-VC針對高解析度的影片制訂了新一代的影片壓縮技術−−High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC)。由於HEVC的quadtree codind block partition structure使得其計算複雜度大大提升,許多方法皆被提出來改善這個問題。而我們的方法則是利用觀察CU mode和PU mode之間的關係,在特定情況下省略部分PU mode的計算來降低複雜度。實驗結果顯示,平均而言,在不太影響影片壓縮品質的情況下大約減少21.2%的壓縮時間。
