應用Dash 機器人WLRC競賽題目於國小四年級學生學習態度與英語表現之研究

摘要


科技的革新,現代人生活已離不開資訊科技,多數產業均需要資訊科技的人才,因此隨著世界的風潮,全球超過25個國家已明確訂出較相關的教育政策,從基礎教育中培養科技軟實力。 程式設計在近年來已然成為教育領域中的熱門議題,學習程式設計擁有更深層的教育意義。在程式設計課程的訓練過程中,能夠培養學生發現並且解決問題的能力,而程式教育在台灣的小學教育中已經逐漸萌芽。 目前國內使用了幾種不同的程式語言去進行教學,並結合了不同的科技載具與課程領域,為傳統教學帶來了一種新的改革。同時,在面對全球化的浪潮,台灣也提出2030國家雙語政策,旨在提升國民英語力及競爭力,積極促進教育模式的革新,以跟上未來趨勢。 本研究中研究對象為新竹市某國小四年級學童,運用國際機器人競賽之題目為任務,以英語進行輔助課程教學,探究其學習動機與英語學習表現,並且透過分組合作的模式,共同分享探索,增加同儕之間的溝通與互動的能力。研究方法採用李克特式五點量表的問卷進行學習態度與學習動機的檢測,了解學生的預期學習態度。在進行完課程後,施以以前測改編過後的後測,探究學生的學習興趣是否有提升、對於學習程式語言的想法是什麼。除此之外,也檢測學生在學習完此課程後,英語字彙能力上的變化。 培養程式設計的能力已成為世界趨勢,本研究以培養國小學童之程式設計基礎概念為目的,設計相關的實驗性課程,輔以加強學生基礎英文能力,多方的結合科技、語言以及人際關係來建立學童良好的基礎。 依據實驗結果,本研究之結論如下: 一、 Dash機器人融入教學之輔助課程可以有效提升學生的英語學習動機。 二、 Dash機器人融入教學之輔助課程對於學生在英語成效方面的表現有顯著進 步。 三、 學生對於使用Dash 機器人融入教學的學習態度有顯著提升。 四、 學生對Dash 機器人融入教學的學習態度抱持正向肯定的看法。 關鍵詞: Dash機器人、學習態度、英語學習表現

Nowadays, with technological innovation, people’s lives are inseparable from information technology, and most industries need IT talents. Therefore, with the global trend, more than twenty five countries around the world have clearly formulated relevant education policies to foster technological soft power in basic education. Programming has become a hot topic in the education field in recent years, meanwhile, learning programming has a deeper educational significance. In the training process of programming courses, students can develop their ability to discover and solve problems. Programming education has gradually sprouted in elementary education in Taiwan. At present, several different programming languages are used for teaching, combined with different technological devices and curriculum areas which bring a new reform to traditional teaching. At the same time, in the face the globalization wave, Taiwan has also proposed the 2030 National Bilingual Policy, which aims to improve the English ability and competitiveness of its citizens, whilst also actively promoting the innovation of education models in order to keep up with future trends. The subjects of this study are fourth-grade students in an elementary school in Hsinchu City. In this method, we will use the international robot competition as a method of teaching English in order to explore our students learning motivation and English performance. Through the mode of group co-operation, students can share exploration together and increase the ability of communication and interaction between peers. In terms of research methods, the five-point Likert scale questionnaire is used to test the learning attitude, to aid our understanding of the students expected learning attitude. After the course is completed, the test is adapted from a previous test to explore whether a students’ interest in learning has improved and to discover what they think about learning programming languages.In addition, it also detects changes in students' English vocabulary ability. Cultivating the ability of programming has become a world trend. This research aims to cultivate the basic concepts of programming for elementary school students in Taiwan, and designs related experimental courses. At the same time, it strengthens students' basic English ability and combines technology, language and interpersonal relationships to build the foundation of children's learning ability in school.
