Abstract This study mainly explored the process of interactions between the disabled and three helpers providing professional services for disabled adults via purposive sampling. This study was basically conducted in narrative approach and narrated, analyzed and discussed three participants' stories with "holistic-content" perspective. The result suggested that although three helpers told their stories diversely and worked with different perspectives, they are anti-oppressors with reflective personal attitude and demonstrating personal uniqueness in devoting themselves to help the disabled and valuing the helping relationship. All of them made their way from professional improvement to professional autonomy and had their own professional style. In the end, the researcher's reflections and suggestions toward professionals and future research will be addressed. Key word :helpers;disabled adults;narrative research
