本研究為量測酸性氣體(二氧化碳)在醇胺AMP (2-amino -2-methyl-1-propanol)與有機溶劑(sulfolane)摻合物水溶液中的氣液平衡溶解度數據,所探討的系統濃度分別為:1.0 M AMP + 3.4 M sulfolane, 2.5 M AMP + 2.3 M sulfolane, 3.5 M AMP + 1.6 M sulfolane;溫度分別為40, 60, 80, 100℃;二氧化碳分壓範圍: 2 ~ 193 kPa,並採用Kent and Eisenberg (1976) 提出的熱力學模式來建立本系統的氣液平衡熱力學模式。利用所建立的熱力學模式來描述實驗數據,可以得到滿意的結果。本研究探討的AMP/sulfolane/H2O溶液,可有效提升溶液之循環吸收量,應是一種具潛力的吸收劑。本研究所得之氣液平衡溶解度數據可作為設計吸收設備的參考依據。
The equilibrium solubilities of carbon dioxide in aqueous mixtures of 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP) with sulfolane have been measured at 40, 60, 80, 100℃, and at partial pressures of carbon dioxide ranging from 2 kPa to 193 kPa. The systems studied are aqueous 1.0 M AMP + 3.4 M sulfolane, 2.5 M AMP + 2.3 M sulfolane, 3.5 M AMP + 1.6 M sulfolane solution. The model of Kent and Eisenberg (1976) has been applied to correlate the measured data. Satisfactory results were obtained for calculation of the solubility of carbon dioxide in AMP/sulfolane/H2O solution for the system studied. The results of this study show that the absorption of CO2 has been greatly improved by using AMP/sulfolane/H2O over the conventional aqueous amine solution, i.e.AMP/H2O. Thus, the AMP/ sulfolane/H2O system should be one of the promising potential absorbents for CO2 absorption. This study can be used as a tool for vapor-liquid equilibrium calculations for designing the acid gases process using AMP/sulfolane/H2O solution as the absorbent.
