Nylon6/氟化雲母奈米複材射出成型製程條件對成品性質影響之研究

摘要


由於高分子奈米複合材料的快速發展,使得聚合物/層狀矽酸鹽奈米複合材料在製備方法、結構、性能及應用方面優於一般的聚合物材料,已成為當今聚合物材料基礎研究和開發應用的熱點,並可廣泛地應用於航空、汽車、家電、電子等行業,使得這種新型的奈米複合材料具有嶄新的應用前景,未來在射出成型製品方面的應用將會越來越多。目前關於射出成型製程對奈米複合材料成品性質影響的研究非常少,故探討射出成型加工製程對尼龍6奈米複合材料的特性、微觀結構與機械性質等方面的影響,以提供射出成型相關業者對尼龍6奈米複合材料有深入的了解,此乃本研究主要的課題。 本研究使用Unitika公司生產的尼龍6/氟化雲母奈米複合材料與尼龍6為研究材料,藉由改變射出成型製程參數-料溫、模溫、保壓壓力及射速,製作無縫合線與有縫合線拉伸試片,完整而且有系統的探討射出成型不同製程條件對尼龍6/氟化雲母奈米複合材料及尼龍6成品性質的影響,以及研究奈米複合材料的矽酸鹽層狀結構對縫合線強度的影響。 從本研究結果可以得知, 尼龍6奈米複材無縫合線試片的拉伸強度隨著料溫、模溫、保壓壓力與射速的增加而增加,而且拉伸強度大於尼龍6試片;但是,尼龍6奈米複材有縫合線試片的鍵結度遠低於尼龍6,因此,縫合線對尼龍6/氟化雲母奈米複合材料而言是一個大缺陷。在料溫、模溫、保壓壓力與射速四個製程條件中,以保壓壓力的遞增對拉伸強度的增加影響最大。

Recently, the polymer nanocomposites had rapidly developed and to make the polymer-layered silicate nanocomposites possesses distinctive performance and it would be used widely for the injection molding in the future, but systematic studies on the application of nanocomposites for the injection molded parts lacked for papers. Therefore, this study used Nylon6/Fluoromica nanocomposites and pure Nylon6 thermalplastic resin of UnitikaÒ to research the influence of molding conditions including melt temperature, mold temperature, packing pressure and injection speed on the properties of injection molded parts. Tensile test specimen of 2.5 mm and 1.0 mm thick were injection molded under specified conditions. Both single gate and double gates were used to form parts with and without weldlines. Part tensile strengths were measured experimentally. The following results were found: 1.The higher melt temperature, mold temperature, packing pressure and injection speed would increase the tensile strength of nanocomposites and the tensile strength higher than pure Nylon6 resin for without weldline specimens, but the tensile strength of nanocomposites was more less than pure Nylon6 resin for weldline specimens. In another word, the weldline is a fatal flaw for the injection molded of Nylon6/Fluoromica nanocomposites. 2.The characteristic of Nylon6/Fluoromica nanocomposites were brittleness and stiffness for without weldline specimens, but the weldline specimens were brittleness and weakness. 3.The packing pressure exhibits significant effect on tensile strength increase in the molding conditions. The achievement concerning this systematic studies could provide an insight into the application of Nylon6/Fluoromica nanocomposites for the injection molded parts.
