台灣當代茶席創作報告

The Creation Of Taiwan Contemporary Tea Feast

摘要


飲茶一事為中華文化的特色之一,自古以來透過各種形式的傳播,在飲食習慣、生活方式甚至是美學體驗上影響了整個亞洲地區的文化發展。台灣傳承了此一珍貴的文化傳統,在器物的造型與茶事的秩序上,發展出獨特的茶藝文化,並在國際間佔有一席之地,近年來更積極舉辦茶事活動,將飲茶一事從飲食文化提昇為品味生活的精緻文化,而台灣茶藝發展的蓬勃,使得茶事周邊的設計遂成為值得關注的重要項目。 本次創作中,筆者試圖將茶具設計的範疇擴大,從「茶席」此一概念作為創作切入點,將飲茶時的桌面擺設及整體飲茶空間的配置納入本次創作項目。筆者在文獻探討章節,首先就飲茶方式的流變,整理中國茶文化自唐代以來的發展,進一步探討海外的日本煎茶道與閩粵、台灣工夫茶的演進。再從茶席設計的角度切入,以與今日泡茶方式相似的明清煎茶法為起點,將兩代古畫中出現的茶席與出土文物做比對,並回顧日本煎茶道茶席與台灣自清代閩粵移民傳入飲茶習慣以來的茶席演進。最後列舉兩場台灣當代茶事之茶席設計作為案例分析,並綜合比較前述所有茶席中之物件,作為創作上之參考依據,期望能在中華茶文化發展的脈絡之下,設計出具文化性、時代性的茶席設計,並希望能提供相關工作者未來設計上之參考。

Drinking tea is one of the main distinguishing features of Chinese culture. From ancient time, with the spread through all means, the habit of diet and lifestyle, even the experiencing of esthetics have all greatly influenced the cultural progress throughout the whole Asia. Taiwan has inherited this precious cultural tradition, and with the appearances of the tea sets and the mannerism of enjoying the tea, it has developed its own unique tea art culture, and at the same time has marked its own place in the international. In recent years, Taiwan has been vigorously holding tea ceremony activities, promoting the diet culture into a more exquisite lifestyle, and with the flourish development, has caused a major attention to the design of the products concerning the tea culture. In this piece of work, the author tries to enlarge the category of the tea sets designs, and has inserted the entry of the table decoration as well as the space used for tea tasting, from the conception of “Tea Feast” as the breakthrough point. In the chapters of the document discussions, the author first organized the expand for the tea culture from the Tang Dynasty through the transition of the mode of tea tasting, and from there continue on to exploring the evolution of the overseas tea culture such as: the Japanese tea ceremony and Fujian & Guangdong, Taiwanese Kung-fu tea. Then it goes on by using the design of the Tea Feast as the breaking point, and how the way tea are brewed nowadays which is similar to that of in the Ming & Ching Dynasty, comparing the historical tea mattresses and sets in the old drawing, and thus reviewing back to how the tea feast have evolved when the Japanese tea ceremony and the Fujian & Guangdong, Taiwanese Kung-fu Tea have brought into Taiwan. Finally, two examples of the designs of the Tea Feast from the Contemporary Taiwanese tea ceremony were mentioned for analyze, and the above mentioned of the ancient Tea Feast were compared comprehensively for reference base, hoping that under this Chinese culture can cultural and periodic Tea Feast be created, and also provide the future related designers for reference check.
