氧化鎂薄膜對平面電子發射光源之影響研究

摘要


摘要 平面電子發射光源(Flat Electron Emission Lamp , FEEL)是一種發光均勻且無汙染的一種光源。其構造為陰極部份的FTO導電玻璃與陽極部份的FTO導電玻璃上面圖佈螢光粉加上中間間隔物組成。利用陰極發射的電子以及元件內部的氣體解離產生的電子撞擊螢光粉而發光。然而在發光過程中,元件內部的離子會因為電場作用下撞擊陰極FTO導電玻璃導致陰極膜面破壞。本文研究氧化鎂薄膜濺鍍至平面電子發射光源之陰極上作為保護層,利用氧化鎂較大的二次電子發射係數以及耐離子轟擊的特性以增加平面電子發射光源之壽命以及效率。

Abstract Flat Electron Emission Lamp , FEEL , is a uniform light source with non-polluting. FEEL consists three part : FTO glass as cathode; a phosphor coated FTO glass as anode and spacer. FEEL emitted photon by electrons which can be sourced from gas ionized free electron and the secondary electrons from the bombardment of ionized gases to the cathode material excited phosphor powder. However, ions impacted the cathode continuously by electric field force, lead to the cathode material will be destroyed in the process of light-emitting. In this research, we adapted magnesium oxide (MgO) as protection layer on fluorine-doped tin-oxide (FTO) transparent contact glass as cathode structure. Using of magnesium oxide’s property : large secondary electron emission coefficient and high protection ability of ion-bombardment to improve the lifetime and efficiency of the Flat Electron Emission Lamp.
