本篇論文成功的利用N,N'-di(3-pyridyl)adipoamide (L) 與 1,2-phenylenediacetic acid (1,2-H2pda) 以及 1,4-phenylenediacetic acid (1,4-H2pda),與金屬化合物反應,合成出新的八個不同的化合物,分別為 [Co(L)0.5(1,2-pda)(H2O)]n, (1)、[Co(L)(1,4-pda)]n, (2)、[Ni2(L)2(1,2-pda)2(H2O)2·4.5H2O]n, (3)、[Ni(L)(1,4-pda)(H2O)0.5·2.5H2O]n, (4)、[Zn(L)0.5(1,2-pda)]n, (5)、[CdBr(L)(1,2-pda)0.5]n, (6)、[CdI(L)(1,2-pda)0.5]n, (7)、[Cd(L)(1,4-pda)]n, (8),這八個化合物藉由單晶X-ray繞射儀來鑑定其結構,並藉由元素分析儀、粉末X-ray繞射儀、紅外光光譜儀、熱重分析儀和螢光光譜儀來研究化合物的特性。結構上,化合物(1)、(2)與(5)為二維結構,化合物(3)、(4)、(6)、(7)與(8)皆為三維結構。化合物(1)與(5)的拓撲學為3,4L83,化合物(2)的拓撲學為3,5L2,化合物(3)的拓撲學為6T2或是(46,64),化合物(4)的拓撲學為sqc26或是(3,82)(32,45,54,62,72),化合物(6)與(7) 的拓撲學為pcu,化合物(8)的拓撲學則為8T17,其中化合物(8)具有[1 + 2]自我貫穿的糾纏現象。
A series of M(II) (M = Co, Ni, Zn, Cd) coordination polymers containing N,N'-di(3-pyridyl)adipoamide (L) and isomeric phenylenediacetate ligands, [Co(L)0.5(1,2-pda)(H2O)]n (1,2-pda = 1,2-phenylenediacetic acid), (1), [Co(L)(1,4-pda)]n (1,4-pda = 1,4-phenylenediacetic acid), (2), [Ni2(L)2(1,2-pda)2(H2O)2·4.5H2O]n, (3), [Ni(L)(1,4-pda)(H2O)0.5·2.5H2O]n, (4), [Zn(L)0.5(1,2-pda)]n, (5), [CdBr(L)(1,2-pda)0.5]n, (6), [CdI(L)(1,2-pda)0.5]n, (7), [Cd(L)(1,4-pda)]n, (8), have been synthesized by hydrothermal reactions. Their structures have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction and their propenties characterized by elemental analyses, powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analyses, infrared spectrometer and fluorescence spectrometer. Complex 1 and 5 form 2D layers with the 3,4L83 topology, while complex 2 forms a 2D layer with the 3,5L2 topology. Complex 3 forms a 3D framework with a new (46,64) topology and complex 4 forms a 3D framework with a new (3,82)(32,45,54,62,72) topology. Complex 6 and 7 form 3D frameworks with the pcu topology, and complex 8 forms the 3D framework with a 8T17 topology, showing a [1+2] self-penetration.
