苗族婦女的手工藝術花樣百出,觀看他們的圖騰紋飾時總可以為我們帶來許多神奇的遐想,由於苗族沒有屬於他們的文字,因而只能依靠著口頭文學(說、唱)與圖飾,傳承歷史文化中的種種想法,正因為如此深情的墨守,因而造就了風格迴異、多彩多姿的民間工藝藝術。 苗族的圖騰紋飾大體上可分為自然寫實紋、人物紋和幾何紋三大類,其中自然寫實紋包含了動物與植物紋,舉凡日常生活所見的動物、山花野草以及苗族詩歌與傳說中的故事,均被苗族婦女拿來當成題材,在豐富的幻想中任意的構圖與組合,活靈活現地讓苗族的服飾靈動起來。 在如此深邃、樸實的文化遺產引領下,本論文以具有自然崇拜、生殖崇拜的圖騰紋飾及具崇敬、紀念意涵的幾何紋為靈感發想,設計創作出: 1.生生不息、永不停歇(Everlasting) 2.盛開(In Full Bloom) 3.方寸間的自在(Carefree )等三個圖紋。 在執行上本創作共分為四個階段:1.基本圖形的擷取與設計2.為個人時尚用品的2D模擬3.個人時尚用品材質的選擇與數位印花的製作4.個人時尚用品版型裁切與縫製階段。其中圖紋色彩的部份除根據苗族原有的圖紋色彩之外,並參考由INTERCOLOR國際流行色彩,所預測提出的”2014春夏流行色彩趨勢”中的『Dream of Artifice』主題所設計;另外,在材質的設計應用上則是採用”2014春夏流行趨勢” 「實物」定義概念中具有溫潤光澤感與穿著舒適性的再生纖維-嫘縈(Rayon)與皮革,最後以數位印花方式完成布紋的設計,並將其應用於時尚用品上(如織品服裝、袋包與鞋子),期盼經由如此的再創造歷程與應用,讓人們得以欣賞到傳統豐富的人文美學,並深刻地期許傳統的民族文化與時尚文化的接軌,讓這份原民之美重現於現代生活中。
Miao’s handicrafts present a great variety of patterns, which bring to us mystical and fantastic imaginations. Since Miao ethnicity does not have written words, its historical and cultural heritages depend on oral literature (singing and narration) and the patterns of the handicrafts. In such a climate,the prolific and colourful folk arts and crafts and the different styles of the patterns have been generated by the uniqueness of Miao’s traditional culture. Miao’s patterns can be divided into 3 categories in general, e.g. patterns relating to Mother Nature,figure, and geometry. The creation of the patterns from Mother Nature largely focuses on animals and plants, and Miao’s poetry and folklore. With the rich imagination, the creative patterns make Miao’s costumes and accessories full of vitality. In this study, 3 patterns (named as Everlasting, In Full Bloom, and Carefree) have been designed by using the patterns of manism and Phallus, and the geometrical patterns with the meanings of adoration and commemoration. The operations of these designs were divided into 4 steps: (1) the adoption and design of the basic patterns, (2) the two-dimension imitation of personal fashion products, e.g. costumes, bags, and shoes, (3) the adoption of personal fashion product materials and the production of digital printing, and (4) the pattern cutting and sewing of personal fashion products. On one hand, the pattern colors were based on the original colors of Miao’s conventional patterns, and referred to‘Dream of Artifice’ of 2014 Spring and Summer Color Trend predicted by INTERCOLOR. On the other hand, the materials with moderate luster and physical comfort, such as Rayon and leather, were chosen in line with the conceptualization of ‘Real Object’ of 2014 Spring and Summer Fashion Trend. Finally, the designs of the patterns were completed by the digital printing and then applied to personal fashion products. With the reproduction and application, the aesthetics of humanities and art with Miao’s conventional richness and uniqueness can be appreciated; with the connection of Miao’s traditional culture and modern fashion, the aboriginal beauty reappeared in our modern life.
