專業課程結合服務學習對課程滿意度、 公民態度與技能影響之研究

摘要


隨著時代的進步,志願服務的思維也漸漸受到全球的重視,而傳統的教育中,許多 學生、家長多著重在學生的課程上的知識學習,卻忽略課程外的生活教育與公民教育。 中原大學的宗旨是全人教育,因此培養學生有良好的公民態度與技能是重要的課題。許 多研究指出服務學習能夠提升學生的公民態度與技能,但是當學生對於課程不滿意時, 是否還是能夠提升學生的公民態度與技能。本研究將針對結合數位服務的專業課程對課 程滿意度和公民態度與技能的影響進行研究。另外,本研究並嘗試探索不同的服務學習 類型的課程,與學生性別的不同是否會影響學生對課程滿意度和公民態度與技能之影 響。 本研究採用問卷調查法,研究對象為修習過結合數位服務課程的中原大學資管系的 學生,共計回收有效樣本308份。在資料分析上,本研究以結構方程模式(Structural Equation Modeling,SEM)中的部分最小平方法(Partial Least Squares,PLS)作為分析 方法,估計研究模型中各變數間的路徑關係、整體模型的契合度,以驗證研究假設是否 成立,所使用的軟體是SPSS10.0 for Windows 與Visual PLS 1.04。 本研究結果發現,學生的公民態度與技能會受到課程滿意度中的學術方面的學習、 社會方面的學習和社會貢獻有正向顯著的影響。以及針對不同的服務學習類型、性別會 對課程滿意度和公民態度與技能產生不同程度的影響。依據本研究結果,能提供未來學 校、教師在設計結合數位服務的專業課程的參考,而達到有效的提升學生的公民態度與 技能。

Integration of service-learning experiences into higher education has been occurring for decades. Because so much of Information Management course content is skill based, service-learning provides IS professors with an excellent vehicle for teaching course content in a hands-on environment. By doing that, service-learning has the potential to fulfill many goals in Information Management education. It is an excellent way to reflect current business practices, reinforce classroom learning through an experiential activity, and increase the students' skill base. Research generally indicates that students who were doing service learning showed increases on develops problem-solving skills, builds student skill levels, develops leadership skills, and fosters social responsibility. But, from the researcher’s point of view, if students are not satisfied with the service learning courses, they feel discontented whether they increase their civic attitude and skills. This study combines service services with the professional courses to study the effects on course satisfaction, civic attitude and skills. In addition, this study tries to explore different types of service learning courses and gender will affect students’ course satisfaction, civic attitude and skills of influence. Surveying is the research method employed in this study and 308 respondents were received. The research samples are students that study in the MIS department of Chung Yuan Christian University. This study is adopting Partial Least Squares(PLS)to analyze the collected data. The statistic software is SPSS10.0 for Windows and Visual PLS 1.04. The results found that learning about academic field, learning about the community and contributions to the community with course satisfaction have significant influences on students of civic attitudes and skills. Different types of service learning and gender, influence students’ civic attitudes and skills and course satisfaction. The results can provide for the future of schools, teachers can utilize it for design of service learning courses, and enhance the students’ civic attitudes and skills effectively.
